At the end you can tell Boros isn't just sad for losing, he's infinitely sad _for_ Saitama, because he's walked in his shoes. He knows that if even Boros at full tilt couldn't hold a candle to his infinite power, Saitama will never find an opponent at his strength, it's literally impossible since all things have limit, except Saitama. The same empty life Boros felt will follow his greatest enemy, and he's sad knowing he couldn't give someone just like him the same purpose he felt at the end.
Thanks for uploading ur whole season 1 into one video. Personally Im someone who prefers it this way so just wanted to say thanks to you guys for doing this.
what's also something alot of people don't realize is that not only did saitama punched a hole in the sea king's torso, i blasted the rain away with it, but not only without breaking a sweat but also perfectly controled compared to the meteor and the training test to become a hero. just like he controlled it perfectly within the fight with genos where his death punch went to his face but instead of hitting his face, he not only stopped right in front of his face but completly obliterated the intire mountain behind him. just like a blasted away the rain all around the city without destroying even 1 building. we all know he can but this control was insanity.
2:26:30 In a previous episode they stated that Mumen Rider was given the option to move up to B Class, but he declined. So it's not that he didn't make it. He just never tried. He also stated "I know I'm not good enough for B class", so that's probably the reason for why he chose not to. Self awareness. He shouldn't even be top of B Class. But he accidentally got credit for what Saitama did in the episode where Sonic was introduced, and it moved him up the ranks.
3:01:39 you're the first to actually notice how huge the gap is between the S-class from all the people i've seen reacting to one punch man, Tatsumaki is on a whole another level compared to the rest of the S class, with a single snap of finger she can kill them and without even trying.
Tatsumaki is really strong but there are others in the S class that can get somewhat close to matching her destructive power or have other abilities that can put them at an advantage. The real gap is between blast and the rest of S class.

Haven't seen you guys in a while, Love the large upload! Glad you saw this homage to action anime. It's a lot of fun. Second season is top notch as well! Good luck to you guys! Also have to say you guys have the best real time analysis of tropes and relevance in this review, as well as your HxH ones. Peace!
Fun fact, in episode 1 during Saitama’s back story, the monster he was fighting, Crablante, was stated to be a Tiger Level threat (a threat that endangers a great Amount of people). It’s take around 5 B-Class Heroes or 1 A-Class Hero to take down a Tiger Level Threat. Even before training, Saitama was nasty with it. Also, if you don’t read the Manga, when Season 3 comes out it will explain why Saitama’s training made him so stronger as well as how monsters work. No spoilers 🤫. Also, the Earth on one punch man is a giant single supercontinent much like Pangea and it is devised into cities. Theses cities can range from being an actual country in terms of our size to the size of a continent (like City A). So when they say, a “city” is under threat, what they really mean is that a country or continent is under threat. Also, GREAT REACTION 😁
In the second episode Genos said there where no people around even though they where surrounded by residential buildings. Which didn't seem to make sense until you hear that Saitama (it was near him) lives in an abandon part of the city.
"I wonder how Saitama would do against powers like hers": We will know about 10 years from now given the current speed of things. They do have a fight together in the manga, but its so far in that it would have to be in OPM Season 4 or Season 5. There is a fan-made animation of the manga panels though.
the original One Punch Man webcomic was written by ONE (the guy who wrote Mob Psycho 100) but the anime was based on the manga adaptation of ONE's webcomic by Yosuke Murata which is vastly different to ONE's version of the story
Boros (the alien boss) took more than one punch because Saitama was indeed testing him and feeding his ego of fighting someone strong, also he's a regen character so obviously you cant one punch someone who regenerates
Actually, Saitama became strong not because of training every day. He became strong because he kept evolving from every monster he defeated every time for 3 years. And Saitama now stops developing because there is no enemy stronger than him who can make him continue to develop because he is too strong
I always considered it a combination of both, I subscribe to the "broken limiter" theory, where the idea (as proposed by Genus later in the manga) is that if you keep pushing your body to the point where it should have died, but through sheer willpower you kept going, you break your physical limits and have infinite growth potential. Saitama's training was actually pretty weak (most IRL MMA fighters do all of that AS PART of a days training) but because he had such a low limit as a regular guy that training should have killed him, but he kept going, and then fighting stronger and stronger monsters after that kept causing his strength to skyrocket because of how fast he grows in strength when fighting something strong due to his limiter being broken.
Trust me, if you stick with OPM you're going to like Amai Mask a lot more later. Not in Season 2 or even season 3 which hasn't come out yet but once you understand his motivations you'll like him a lot more.
he does, except his orb was the ship's power core, he was so strong he could separate his body from the orb, you can see it above his throne, why would he leave the orb in the open? why would the orb break from Boros's body receiving damage? i dont know but you can clearly see thats the case if you look closely.
The end of episode 5, wondering if the mad cyborg was a hero. Pretty interesting take. Major webcomic and manga spoilers below Webcomic spoilers, I don’t think the manga has gotten here yet, but that’s quite literally the case. The Mad Cyborg was created by Metal Knight.
It really wasn’t lol. Saitama was holding back so Boros could finally feel the thrill of the fight again, something that Saitama also desperately craves but can’t get since he’s so strong
