I remember losing a baby, my house, my job and a relationship within a three month time frame and I would sit in my car with my kids in our garage blasting this and praising the Lord Almighty!! I stood at the alter with my arm around my father while this song played on a loop. Little did i know that it was the last time i would get to feel his embrace. He was on a ventilator just a couple of days after and died three weeks later. I never got to talk to him again after that church service. This song is forever engrained in my head as our last song. Our last ride. And every time i hear it, im right back at that alter. Right where he wanted me, all the while being at his happiest knowing that i was there with him. I miss you dad.
It is so important for us to surrender to the Lord. We do not know what will happen in the next moment, let us bask in His presence now and forever more. Praise God. We serve a God who knows our beginning and our end and prepares us for the mountain top and valley experiences. My husband of 35 years passed away 8 months and 4 days ago. But I am not grieving as one that have no hope. I miss him so much but I thank God every day for taking him when he did because he is with Him and not in pain anymore. I thank God for the Holy Spirit and His word that is providing comfort. He has promised that He will not leave us or forsake us and that weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. We serve an awesome God that has a plan for our lives and as long as He gives me breath, I will continue to praise Him and worship Him and share His goodness with others. Honestly, i was a non believer up until a month ago. I had gone to church with my grandparents and i thought it was just going to be another Sunday...however, the Holy Spirit moved through me and washed over me wiping my spirit and my soul completely clean from all of my past transgressions! Im a a student youth minister i really don't don't know what I'm doing anymore i live day by day in fear and so lost and distanced from god. i know god will never leave me or forsake me. but I've been pushingnhim away and i feel my calling but still i fill so empty in my heart and in my stomach. i don't have that joy or filled spirit to evangelize anymore. I just got back from church camp, and we had two hispanic girls in our group. they could speak very little if any english. we had a counselor who could speak spanish and english. well we all prayed for them and really talked to them about God and we sang this song, and some other songs. everytime i looked at them they knew the words to this song and idk but it just made me so happy! on the very last night of camp these two girls accepted Christ:) and that just made me so happy to witness this!:)

That's what this is about. Then when God manifests, He reveals things to us, He heals people, He gives direction, comfort, peace, etc. And in that place of great glory we find that we are no longer afraid, no longer stressed out, no longer discouraged and so on. This is what we can have when we entertain His awesome presence in our lives. The more we practice to do so the less we entertain the horrible mindsets that come from the enemy. Yes we will still have troubles and trials on earth, but we won't be as taken apart by them when we stay focused on His Presence.

Im a a student youth minister i really don't don't know what I'm doing anymore i live day by day in fear and so lost and distanced from god. i know god will never leave me or forsake me. but I've been pushingnhim away and i feel my calling but still i fill so empty in my heart and in my stomach. i don't have that joy or filled spirit to evangelize anymore. I'm here listening to this in tears and i am lost.

I just got back from church camp, and we had two hispanic girls in our group. they could speak very little if any english. we had a counselor who could speak spanish and english. well we all prayed for them and really talked to them about God and we sang this song, and some other songs. everytime i looked at them they knew the words to this song and idk but it just made me so happy! on the very last night of camp these two girls accepted Christ:) and that just made me so happy to witness this!:)

It may seem really odd that he can see you anywhere, but he will always know what you are going to do and he gives us a freedom of choice on what we want to do because he gives us the Holy Spirit to prompt us when we are about to do wrong.

The song does not SAY "fully in Your presence" it says Here in Your Presence we are undone. I have been undone in His Presence. God manifests His Presence when we praise Him. That's what this is about. Then when God manifests, He reveals things to us, He heals people, He gives direction, comfort, peace, etc. And in that place of great glory we find that we are no longer afraid, no longer stressed out, no longer discouraged and so on. This is what we can have when we entertain His awesome presence in our lives. The more we practice to do so the less we entertain the horrible mindsets that come from the enemy. Yes we will still have troubles and trials on earth, but we won't be as taken apart by them when we stay focused on His Presence.
