Bookstore suggestions in Seattle:
Ophelia’s Books (used bookstore in the Fremont neighborhood with a crazy spiral staircase and a cat!!)
BLMF Literary Saloon (another used bookstore in Pike Place Market)
Queen Anne Book Company (new books and a cute cafe with great coffee and food and a nice outdoor patio area)
Third Place Books (there are a few locations around Seattle, new books and the stores are a bit bigger, like a local version of Barnes and Noble)
There’s also the Amazon bookstore in University Village which is a unique experience

Village Books is my favorite bookstore EVER. I used to go there every weekend with my dad and shop for books and get lunch downstairs. I miss it so much (I moved to California about 10 years ago so I only go back about once a year)!
Is Michael’s used books still open in downtown bham? I remember Michael’s being the picture-perfect used bookstore.
I’m not sure I don’t think I’ve heard of Michaels, I’ll have to keep an eye out for it 👀

I don't know if you did but if you ever get there again go to the thrift store it has so many books and great buys all the books are if I remember 3$ each. Whenever I am out to visit my family I bring an extra suitcase just for books from the thrift store.
