Just stumbled across your channel while looking at buying my first Porsche. I’ve noticed you’ve gone quiet posting boxster videos, would you be interested in selling? Very hard to have good faith when buying a car but I can see from your videos you cut no corners and look after your cars.
Great as ever! My roof is getting the same issue, so time for a bit of DIY. I've read some staple the fresh elastic to the roof tab. Bound to rust quickly. Please keep on posting these video's.
Nothing new with a Porsche.. this is why I decided to sell my Boxster.. and so glad I did.. you should just sell it and keep the better car you have.. the S2000
Any idea what the 4 rubber grommets on each of the outer sill are for? I’ve noticed a few of mine are perished so have purchased some basic ones to replace them, will also clean and spray some bilthamber Dynax. But just wondered if anyone knew what their purpose was.
Any more updates on the Porsche? The series is very helpful to new owners, great job.

There is a second elastic strap lower down to tension the back part of the hood also.
So 2 each side.👍🏼
Lovely to see these little jobs tackled on the boxster.

Thanks mate. Let me know how your roof repair goes! Will do!
Worth applying some grease to the tap to collect the swarf :)
Cutting paste. Should still be able to get it.
2004 Honda s2000 here with 107k miles. Driven hard to 9000rpm every single time. Zero issues. Japanese over engineering 😁
Hiya mate what depth is the concrete in your garage to accommodate the 2 poster?

Let's be real, nobody has ever turned and said "Oooh, a Honda". Unless you've got an NSX, they're dull.
I would replace the brake caliper.. helicoil on a braking system isn't a good idea due to the heat and it's a safety issue ..
100% REPLACE caliper

im sorry but that caliper has had it, the seat is ruined where the sealing occurs and the helicoil is inserted too high, it will fail
