I feel normal means 2% Gutta percha cones...We shall always do lateral compaction after cleaning and shaping with protaper system. To choose the right size, we should use 2%hand files and should check which file is binding at the working length. That size cone should be used as mastercone. Usually 30size cone will be a starting point in most cases

Can we oburate protaper system prepared canals by normal Gutta percha if yes what size approximately we should use.

Thank you! However how do I know which finishing file to stop at? Example upper central. I would prepare to 40/50 normally. Do I stop at 30 now?

You have to do hand filing until you achieve clean dentinal shavings . Once you do , you will understand.

Are we going to recapitulate sir? If yes, which file should we use?
With rotary instrumentation, with proper lubrication, recaptulation is not needed. We do recaptulate with 15k file if some obstruction is felt

For shaping files we shall use brushing motion. For finishing files just pecking motion without much pressure is indicated@@goksuozalp52
