    Dear Master Wong, thanks so much for your inspirational training videos. I watched a fairly recent interview with the boxer Chris Eubank, in which whilst brilliantly attired in a smart suit, he got up and demonstrated some shadow boxing defense and attack. Whilst watching this display and the natural raw power he carried, i had this vision of him training in Wing Chun and what a complete and awesome fighting machine in martial arts he would make. I would love to see a documentary about a high level boxer taking up Wing Chun and seeing the results...

    Master Wong , on your straight shot up the middle with elbows and hands around back of head is very beneficial for me ! I practice power pushes and elbows straight into the 100's pound heavy bags at my boxing gym. Too me , this upper body power is lethal and great for me . I still have a wrestlers physique , and can really premtively tank my way into an opponent. practice any and every slap , chop, fist strike, and low kicks too as much perfection I can. Thanx , Master Wong for your great teachings.

    If I can I really wanna come and be under your teaching, Honestly I have only did martial art as a child and stopped coming to teenage years because of moving and then gained a lack of motivation. I would love to visit when I come out of my studies! You are epic! You cut the crap out of the martial art and make it practical and deadly. I respect that. You are the man!

      have to be real careful any hand strikes or kicking movements can affect the ribs and cause it pain- when you throw a punch you could feel it in your rib muscles on the side as well for kicks... im sure the best method is to let your ribs heal until going back to training...feel better...

    • @thedarkmaster4747

      don't... just put your arms up, litterally walk into him as fast as you can, and punch him in the throat as many times as you can. there is a follow up i would do but... *the words gui lo... are menicingly whispered into my ear* that should beat this basic technique with that one.

    Although something in Muay Thai seem to be similar to Wing Chun what bothers me is the trapping. Wing Chun practitioners assume us Muay Thai boxers are always going to move forward regardless whether we're throwing jabs,right cross,left hooks,using elbows, knees, shin kicks etc.but that is not so. We often move around in a circular movement as boxers do , which would making trapping hard or impossible to do us on. It may work on someone who always moves in a straight line for each technique executed but how many trained fighters are stupid enough to do that, even on the street most people will move around all the time. Trapping I can see working if you're stuck near a wall and no wear to run. I think it's only good for close up.

    • @nohbdy1122
      @nohbdy1122 9 років тому +1

      +Asoka Mano I mostly agree, I think trapping with never work agains trained fighters that know what they're doing if you try to force it to work. I think trapping punches is more of something that you flow into than something you try to force

    • @thedarkmaster4747
      @thedarkmaster4747 7 років тому

      depends... if your strike/attack from your guard of doom lol! misses the opponants body/they side step it, if they are moving towards you at the exact same angle your striking from they can trap you. as it is both extend and retract, i see what your saying, i am practicaly a ball room dancer myself.
