I also want to say, you should do a live so your subscribers can talk to you when you have questions about which color or whatnot ❤ that would be so fun! These turned out beautiful!
Julie they are beautiful. My favourite colour is navy! I have a cricut which is great for making my wood signs. All you need is paper cutter for scrapbook paper I think you can get it on Amazon. Love from NB Canada!
Oh I so agree! That would be fun to interact with you.
It’s a little difficult, I think, to manage the time zones for a live.
Those are truly amazing. The idea this CAN be accomplished so perfectly by hand sure helps seeing you do them without a machine! I also love your long videos. This is the third viewing for me!!❤
I would definitely invest in a cricut. If you don’t think you’ll use it a lot you can get the cricut joy, it’s smaller but does the same things. It has a washi tape cut setting too ;) these turned out gorgeous! Can’t wait to see what you do next!
That sounds great
I was thinking the same thing. She can lay out the tape on a mat, cut them out, pull off the mat. Easy peasy!

I think the silver edge adds a touch of class. They’re simply beautiful!
Yes, it's called a Cricut (Cricket). It cuts vinyl and cardstock. Along with a lot of other materials. I think it would be an awesome idea for you to get one. I have one and I absolutely LOVE it. I put all kinds of sayings and pictures inside of my resin projects that I've printed off with my Cricut. ❤
Same here and mine the Cricut air 2 has washi tape settings and would cut this day with out havin to stick to plastic x
I would have definitely used the blue paint pen on these dominoes.
Lovely colors, I really like the pattern of the washi tape. I don’t work with washi tape much.
May I make a suggestion, the backs of the dominoes should have a consistent pattern, like a deck of cards so people playing won’t know which number dominoes have been selected. I hope that makes sense.
The front with dominoes (dot side)-can have any design as it is always played face down.❤ I used to play all the time.
Black looks better, they are gorgeous 😍
Gorgeous. Love the tape and the different levels of the resin. And I like both colors of dots. Classy set of dominos. ❤
Yes! Black dots, silver edge!
Beautiful work. Everything you do is fabulous. This is my first watching the dominoes.❤❤❤❤😊 Lisa
I like the silver on the edge. The back turned out really good and that give me more ideas for when I want to make more I've been practicing making domino's
I love my cricut! I bet you can find lots a projects to use it with. I liked the white dotes but I’m not mad at the black. The sliver edge was chefs kiss!! Totally took them up a notch!!!
You probably won't see this, but in case you do, you could always color the dots inside the mold. Meaning paint, color, dust, whichever you choose, then add your colored resin, then your back coat. Then it's all done, and you just pop them out and not have to worry about coloring them afterward. ❤❤❤ I love this set btw, astrological constellations are what is on the washi tape. Blue, silver, stars what could go wrong! 😊❤❤❤
These are fantastic im glad you chose the black
You have stunning taste. Your skills amaze me. I am looking forward to buying your products. I love unique, high quality products. I can tell you are proud to put your name behind your products. I love your humbleness even though you are a master. I love the long videos so I can work along with you. Thank you for your service. ❤
They look great silver edge looks great.
Hi Julie I was shouting at you saying WHITE, WHITE, WHITE for the win, but you went with the black, they turned out beautiful 😍 thanks for sharing ❤️ xx
I went to buy this the other day and could onfind the double nines! I'm so glad I saw this video!
Love the silver edge & black dots. Thanks for the content 👍
I recommend paint the lines & wipe all, then go back and add the dots. It’s much easier. Best to wipe while still wet.
I love how you have so much fun with your videos !
I've had a Cricut for 8 years. I bought an upgraded one 3 years ago. Love it!
I wish you would
Do a pour painting!
I know you've been branching out with other stuff, but I really do miss your pours!!
Great Project, Silver Edge
I liked the white dots best. The Washi tape is cool looking.
They came out beautifully. Yes the black looks better. Maybe you can find a punch in the shape of a rectangle. The Cricut works wonders though. Thanks 😊👍👏
Gorgeous, I like the black dots better
I prefer the white. I think it's brighter for old eyes.
These are beautiful (just from the thumb nail alone hehe), but i was thinking of something if you want to use this tape in future projects. I don’t know if this would truly work, but if you’ve done something before (ie the dominos) could you do as you did and place the tape on the plastic then trace the item over it to get general shape without a lot of measuring? Again just a thought and not sure it would work.
Love the silver. I had a cricut and I didn't have the patience to use it. But lots of people love it. I also found that it wastes a lot of the vinyl which can be pricey.
I hope it's ok to say, I use sparkle Pearl resin colour from a supplier in Orange, NSW. I love the effect it gives me.
These are beautiful .I love the colours too .They look more grey to mr sing grey is beautiful too.Nice change fram 50 shades of blue…Lol..Your going to have to make a box for all the individual sets of domino’s.They will make a unique guft.🥰
Wow they're beautiful 😍
Just placed my order! My craft room is full of Julie moulds! Ya!! I have a scan n cut and a circuit joy. If you are only going to do small things the joy may be better. On the other hand as you sometimes draw around mould shapes the scan n cut may be better as you could scan in your drawing and save it in the machine then you can get it to cut out as many as you want. You can also draw them digitally on both machines online work spaces. Spoilt for choice!
Sounds great! Did you watch the video where I thanked you for the Christmas card :)
I absolutely love the effect on the back, with the contrast of the blue areas with the silver lines.
If you are interested in a Cricut look into the Maker, it does tons of things. I personally have the Brother Scan n Cut and love it. You can scan an item and then cut it out. Dont need a membership or a cartridge. Love the Dominos.
You could get a corner punch to round the corners it's used in card making and scrap book making you could maybe order from amazon or ebay
Love your work...
The Cricut big is great! Think ahead to maybe more projects later. It is a great investment and the size does matter.
Silver edge, and black dots
Like the silver edge. You did an awesome job
I like it just plain without any paint on it but, the white paint looks better for me when you are painting on this color.
You make my heart sing each time I see a video of yours. Thank you for being you. It is an honour walking alongside you on this UA-cam journey. You share such an interesting process which is so helpful. Keep it up..
They’re great, I like the black better, thank you x
I love the silver edge!
These are awesome..I liked either colour dots n stripes❤
Wish I had watched this before my 1st domino set attempt.
I did the exact same thing, you could see my dots clear through. 😂
I just love your work
These are so cool! I LOVED Yoshi's Island! :)
I would love to see your workshop/workspace. You are so organized, I know it must be amazing! Thanks so much for sharing your projects with us, we all LOVE them and appreciate you!❤️
I like the silver they turned out really nice
IMHO I think you would have been OK with either white or black but, like you, I would have chosen black. I do agree that
If the edges need sanding it leaves a rough, non-glossy appearance from the sanding so I think it’s appropriate to give the edges a silver coating to disguise that. I think the best solution would be domed backs. In any case, job well done and I look forward to the next project! Oh and I don’t have a cricut so I can’t comment on the advantages/disadvantages. My poor soul would hav been cutting them by hand, which you did well, BTW.
I just had to buy this mold from you! You have really inspired me❤
I like the silver edge makes it pop
Blue is my favourite colour and these turned out absolutely gorgeous! When you have all the right tools it's so much easier and it all comes together beautifully! I just love watching you it's so entertaining and just makes my day .😊🙏🏻❤️
Spectacular job
I was just thinking that you could those hearts into magnets as well so people could put on the fridge. Just an idea I had.✌️❤️🤣 peace, love and happiness
Black, definitely
I like both colors, try half black and half white.❤
Love that mold! That tape on the back is just awesome and I love the silver on the back.
I like that you picked the black. These turned out pretty cool!
Those are beautiful, you do a great job. I was wondering about the white dots and painted around them in what it would look like
There’s corner rounder punches rather than using scissors to round the corners. You can find them with scrapbooking supplies.
Gorgeous 😍
There is a diamond dust that might work for sparkle. You can get it from stone coat.
I like the black and the silver edge. The washi tape was a great idea too. They look beautiful
Turned out beautifully with the silver edge.
Between the black and white I like the black better, but I was hoping you would have done the blue!
Black and silver edge looks beautiful.
I love these!!
Black dots are better and the silver edge really makes them pop.
I love the silver edges, it really brings it all together and makes them look complete 😍
I like the silver edge!
The white matches the constellations!
Silver edge for me.
I love my Cricut, you can do so much on it.
Thank you for your videos Julie, you are such a great teacher and your moulds are fabulous.
I love my Cricut! Before investing, depending on how many domino sets you are going to make, cast just one clear domino to use as a template if you are going to cut the backings by hand. The washi tape is stunning.
These look great. For me I'm a color nut and I would have done the dots and lines in orange, pink, or even yellow. I love the silver on the back and you could have done the dots and lines in silver too. They are so pretty. Makes me want a set. Thanks for the fun video. ♥♥♥
Good taste in music 🙂
I think white for the stars!
I don’t have a cricut. Too expensive snd seemingly complicated with all the settings to learn plus a needed subscription to one thing or another lol. Dominoes turned out fantastic.
Adding it to my wish list
These are really beautiful, Julie! 😊 I'd go black dots and a silver edge! I haven't finished watching, though, to see what you decide. NEVER MIND how long the video is! The complainers know where the fast-forward button is! 😁
Ah, you picked the black dots and silver edge! GORGEOUS set of dominos! ❤😊
I love the them you did a great job. Actually you designs on an inkjet printer on clear paper
Brilliant... love the tape and the silver edges.. very cool 👌
That silver edge really elevates the look. Excellent job
These are beautiful in fact I like them so much I just bought the mold. I I like the white better it looks lighter and brighter. I so enjoy your videos and your humor- when you get excited I do too.
Thankyou so much
I like the silver edge on the backs of them. Really loving the constellation Washi tape! Very nice set, they look classy!!! 💙
Silver edge is nice. You would benefit with the cricut.
You should start out with the Cricut Joy. That's what I have and I can go weeks without using it. I do love it though. I mainly got mine to make personalized name plate settings for my daughter's wedding.
they look great, I have only done 2 sets, and I painted the sanded edge also, and I ended up painting all of the lines, then wiping them, and then doing the dotes; I love the way that the glitter settled to the bottom, you almost had dard dotes with out painting them,
I think the silver edge is just that last touch it needed.
Officeworks has a gillatene u could then cut straight down from top to bottom. Careful they are sharp but u can cut serveral at a time.
I like the silver edge
when i did mine i colored the lines first so that if they needed wiping it didnt smear the paint from the holes. Yes youre doing things twice but it pays in the end. Love the washi tape idea!
The silver edge looks really good and it sounds like a great way to finish off a sanded edge for resin too! I have been wondering about the look of sanded edges with resin, so this was neat to see!
I love the look of the dominoes. The silvery galaxy look is so beautiful along with the black dots. I also think a light blue set of dominoes with silver dots will look awesome as well.
I think if you are wanting to cut different shapes to add to different pieces then yes definitely invest in one for sure . The amount of different dies you can get would add a new dimension to your resin works would look brilliant !
Lol, I’m the same way,I have ENOUGH hobbies and a double craftroom crammed full of all the hobby stuff I already don’t use but needed... but I’m so fascinated by this… however so far, for 2 years, I’ve managed to just look and not buy resin supplies! But this project is making me want to spontaneously BUY ALL THE RESIN THINGS - same as the Octopus one which was my previous favourite of hers! I need to click away now so I don’t cave…. 😂
@@cazkiwinz4300 ROFL yeah my corner of the loungeroom has 1 pc table 1 drawing table and another art table i have book cases and all sorts . For me i have the *must buy everything i need* or *complete set syndrome* when it comes to art supplies
@@SelenesCreationsByTheSea Oh, definitely yes…. full set syndrome is REAL! 😂
Shopping for art/craft supplies …. and using those art/craft supplies for art/crafts though? Two VERY DIFFERENT hobbies!
Cricut Maker is the best. You can cut all sorts of materials, including thin veneer, fabric, and acrylic. It would definitely enhance your projects and make them even more beautiful. It's worth the investment 👍
Absolutely a CriCut would make things easier and faster. I love mine
