Mate, just found your channel on Sunday after getting back from a hunt without success and looking for some inspiration! I’ve been tromping through vic for years (Coming up near 20! Years) but have never come found the areas you get too. Awesome stuff, thanks! Keep it up!
Hey Anthony thanks for the visit to the channel I hope there is enough content there to warrant your sub ? Its a pain when you put the effort in for no reward but hey thats hunting. Hope you can get something out of my videos that might help you out next time.
Great videos mate, im working my way through them. Having open tarps ro sleep under, have you ever had any dramas with snakes as I know there around in those hills alot .
we have talked about coming up, we''re both keen just need to work out if we would drive or fly. what we need to do is just plan a trip for next year and commit to it now! I nearly wore the legs of Brett on this hunt ;) hope your well.
Great stuff mate, show’s what your in for hunting samba. That putty stuff could come in real handy. Look forward to the next vid. Don’t worry about the clown who gave you a thumbs down, there’s one knuckle head in every crowd🦌🦌👍👍👍👍👍
You have to be mad to want to hike into some of the spots I go. And the only way I can do these trips is to count grams and go ultralight so having mattress under my feet is grams I do want to carry. My days of 20+kgs packs are gone my knees don't allow it ! 👍 Your not the first to call me mad so I take it as a compliment 😁
@@ZebrasSambarhuntingAdventures And when it's time to wizz. I dunno why but when I'm remote I act like I can't just stop and piss wherever adn whenever, like I need to wait for a break time. But yeah, off the clock.
Great video and beautiful terrain. Taking my eldest son up Jamieson way this weekend and this is inspiring :) Can I ask a question on the first few shots you had of the stags of roughly how far away from them you were? I find it hard to tell the distances when using a camera versus glassing through binos or a spotting scope. Either way it was fantastically clear video. Cheers.
@@ZebrasSambarhuntingAdventures Wowser that's some great footage from that distance. I honestly didn't know you could get that far from a camera. Very impressive work!
Thanks Taylan...I bought the MRE meals from survival supplies australia I bought the flameless heater pouch from aussie storm shop. You can buy all from one or the other but at the time only one had the pouches in stock.
The brows on the velvety were pretty impressive , be better next year maybe, thanks for sharing.
For sure!! hopefully he survives and I can find him again
Another great adventure, thanks for taking us along.
What’s the rain jacket @11.20
Love ya work mate
Hey Kon the rain jacket is an old Cabela's lightweight jacket only good for loght rain but it is very light and packs very small

Great videos mate, im working my way through them. Having open tarps ro sleep under, have you ever had any dramas with snakes as I know there around in those hills alot .
Nah never had a snake in camp. Seen a few whilst walking early in the year but once winter sets in I've never seen one.
The reds are roaring boys. Started up on the weekend. Thought I might have seen you up this way.
Say hi to Brett for me Zebby.

Brett's keen what are you up to this weekend? We'd have to borrow a rifle.
You’ll have to book in for next year mate. I’m down in SA chasing Fallow for two weeks.
Don’t worry about bringing a gun. Iv got you both covered 👍

Thanks for taking the time to comment Keith. I dont count the negatives only the views and subs.
Another great production, great seeing a lot of healthy animals are still around after the massive fire season of 2019-20
Thanks mate yeah there is a tonne of feed in the bush atm.
As per usual mate quality content. Always get pumped to see a em one from you
Much appreciated! Love your feedback

@@ZebrasSambarhuntingAdventures hahaha yeah that's fair mate, definitely a compliment you know that 🤣🍻
Well done mate, nothing like a couple of days hunting.
It was awesome to get into some new country. Love searching new areas for that big boy.
Great production, thanks for sharing. What brand camouflage do you wear?
Thank you
Hey mate thanks for watching...If you watch my latest vid which I put up yesterday I talk about my camo and where I got it from. (Sitka gear)
Mate, this was a cool video!
thanks for sharing your hunts!
Glad you enjoyed... Thanks for commenting
Good adventure man. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it. It was an awesome part of the Alpine very remote
@@ZebrasSambarhuntingAdventures Looks like it. Nothing like getting away and being off other people's time.
Only need to know the time twice a day when hunting....when is daylight and when is it dark.

velvet stags were about 600-650yds the malform and small velvet stags on dark were 900+ away and the stag with the shaky footage was over 1300yds

@@skay9443 83x optical zoom drags them in ! 👍
@@ZebrasSambarhuntingAdventuresdefinitely impressive specs. So the obvious question is, would your camera replace a spotting scope? 😂
@@skay9443 it does for me. So long as you have battery it's better than a spotter as you can record and replay to assess a stag
Really enjoyed your video mate, keep them coming. Interested to know what you used to start the fire? (blue stuff in the tin)
Hey mate thanks for your feedback. The fire lighter is called Pyroputty and you can buy a winter or summer tin. Im really impressed with it.
@@ZebrasSambarhuntingAdventures it definitely did the job!
Great video mate. Where did you buy the pyro putty? Is that the winter blend?
Yes it is the winter blend and I bought it from an add on Instagram but cant remember the store. It was from Australia .
So sick man, loved it
thanks for the comments
Love vids brother 👍👍
I appreciate it.
Great video mate. Can you tell me what was that self heating meal was? Where to get it? Thanks
