Who could ever forget the 3 TDs for 1 yard rushing game?! The Bus was a beast and a good dude in general. Bonds "a normally proportioned human being 😂" love a good weird story
Great VR. Classic story. I was on the fencing team in college and just the male coach and I went to a meet in Winnipeg. He said it was too dangerous for me to stay at the hotel because the walls were full of bullet holes so he arranged for me to stay in the UNHEATED attic of the Canadian coach in frickin January! I was so cold and got totally destroyed in the meet by the Canadian fencers but still a good time 😂
That's exactly where you want to stay. In an unheated anything anywhere in Canada in January lol. Definitely a memory that you'll always have, that's for sure. I do have a good hotel with bullet holes story for another time too oddly enough lol
Oddly enough, of the three throwing events I did, discus was my least successful. Though I do have a good story related to that and getting left at a track meet in Virginia that I'll have to tell one day lol
As one of the elder statesmen on the team at the time, he told me exactly what happened haha. Lost of Molson XXX and a few trips to the various Canadian ballets. If you know, you know 🤣
