Playing with a machine is tougher than facing an actual bowler, bcoz the ball comes suddenly from nowhere.... On the other hand, u can Analyse when the Baller is throwing the ball and Respond Accordingly
Not the case , this is true for real bowling actually, whereas playi g in bowling machine is much easier as bydefault speed and bowling type has set.

The person feeding the bowling machine will usually hold up the ball to show the batsman before feeding it in to the machine. From the machine you know where tha ball is coming from and you can set swing, speed etc. From personal experience facing a real bowler is much tougher because of the many, unpredictable variables.

Not true, the thing with the bowling machine is that balls are skiddy and faster and so is the surface. Deduct 15mph from the speed to get a comparable speed to face a hard ball on a turf wicket. i.e. 85MPH on the machine = 100MPH with a red ball on a real wicket. Also machine is actually easier to face in respect of having the same length each ball, no seam movement, predictable swing and if the ball condition is good or new then very consistent bounce. Ive actually face maybe 20,000 machine balls.

This is not how it works in the real time.
The speed of the ball gets reduced by 25-30 kms on an average once the ball is pitched.
In subcontinents, it is 30-35 kmph speed reduction, while in Aus/Eng/SA, it is in between 20-25 kmph speed reduction.
But there is also swing factor

I faced a district player who bowled in mid 120’s. With his swing and bounce it was hard even to touch the ball. Most of us will not even see the ball when it came and where it went after 130’s. Forget about 140, 150 and 160’s. Think about ABD, SKY and most of modern players playing unique shots at that pace.
Angle at which ball is coming. You need to stand outside the crease and try to go a little further when the balls man is saying ball and try to hit the ball on covers.
