Martin's attitude to Harrison's songwriting should've earned Martin a smack across the chops. "If I Needed Someone" was one of the better cuts on the album, so good was it, that Parlophone stablemates, The Hollies also recorded it in the same year, 1965.

6:28 Brian Epstein was the '5th Beatle", Norman "Hurricane" Smith was the "7th Beatle", in between them was George Martin, the "6th Beatle". But the 5th, 6th and 7th were unofficial, of course.

Sgt Pepper was brilliantly innovative, who are these people talking? I do think strongly they should have dumped within you without you and instead put strawberry fields and penny lane and hello goodbye. Not picking on George I just never felt like it fit on the album it stuck out like a sore thumb.
