Thanks to her father ,who let her come on stage and movies. Dhiraj Chawda ,still photographer once said " There are two actresses ,where you cannot take bad shot" .they are Nutan and Waheeda Rehman. Lights ,nothing could have done those days. Pictures were shot on films and they all were slow speed. .So you needed lot of light and bulbs use to throw not only light ,but heat also. Video hardly needs much light and air conditioning also makes LIFE easy for actors. Kamaal yehi hai ki inh kalakaro ne kamaal kiya with very basic equipment. Thanks for interview and staying with you admirers.

OMG Waheeda Jee is so graceful and beautiful and also strong headed. It was good to know what a liberal Muslim father she had who allowed her daughter to do stage performance 60 yrs ago. I love her strong adamant attitude which she never compromised to be in films hence when I see the modern girls succumb to the pressure of the film fraternity shows how vulnerable these ladies are and look at Waheeda jee who did not bent down to any pressure and Allah SWT bestowed her whatever she dreamt about and I agree for you need to stand firm and not be scared of anyone and truly truly admire her self confident and self esteem. We are lucky to see these stars with us. Many left us much early. But these people have been a part of the "Golden Age of Indian Cinema" so its always very special to see them and listen to them. To my eyes, Waheeda Rahman was one of the most beautiful women in Hindi cinema. She had a ton of charisma and a mystique that I always found extremely endearing and captivating. A superb actress, too. Not a fan of dancing, though. But, of course, that also takes a lot of talent. And Waheeda was a very gifted dancer.
