Yes, I get it. The sweetness in Angels Share at some stage can feel like just plain table sugar without any base and then suddenly you associate it with fruity sweetness of cognac - an illusion created with the use of plum and myrrh .
But in the case of Khamrah the boozyness comes from dates. Dates do that to some other fragrances too: viz. Shagaf Azraf Oud.
I too have been sampling various iterations lately and I'm still unsure which I like. I'm yet to sample Qahwa though and after watching your review I'm certainly going to prioritise this relatively "masculine" iteration.
