In an era of cheap synths that really compete with the plugin market, it's nice to see the Rolls Royce of analogue hardware produce a flagship worthy of the name. Yes, not many people can and will afford this but these synths last decades and the quality of sound and build speaks for itself.
It's a very intriguing instrument. In the few demoes so far, the instrument is showing many different sides of its sound capabilities. I feel this instrument could both sound classic but also very modern. This must be one of the most versatile analog synths ever designed. I'm looking forward to more demoes that show it's many sides.
The bar has been raised for sure. A new classic. 9 configurable CV in's and out's? an XY pad? Effects by Eventide? 3 synth multitimbrality with 16 voices x 3 oscillators? This thing is crazy.
The sounds from the Moog One in this video is awesome. I'm sorry but comparing a six voice poly to this is nothing but comedy. This is a classic and a top synth for years to come.
A stunning synth for sure. Love that you can split the keyboard into three separate synth sounds with independent sequencing. But the price is a bit staggering.
Yes, it's expensive, but some people spend that much on a guitar or two with an amp & effects pedals. Also, if you adjust the old Memory Moog price for inflation, it would be more than 10K today, and this has far more functionality. Finally, this will last longer than many of us...lol...almost a family heirloom item. 🙂
So finally we have a synth which has capabilities and depth of complexity comparable to the Andromeda A6. I have been waiting for a long time for something like this! And it happens to be a Moog!
Holy crap this thing is awesome! Better than the Memorymoog could ever hope to be and it sounded great as well! This thing has the beautiful looks-obviously based on the Memorymoog but I'll just say it's way cleaner and refined looking. I want it so bad I'd sell my vintage Model D plus Kronos 88, Odyssey, Kurzweil VP, DMX--everything I own -including my dog to get one of these!!! Damn!..Well maybe not my dog but still, Moog absolutely knocked it outta the park with this one IMHO!!! Pricey but of course we expected that didn't we? One had to assume it would cost at least 1.5x to 2x more than the Model D or at least $3000 more! I've been waiting on such a synth for years now and they finally did it!!! It was really worth the wait and I think it will be a home run for Moog! Thanks to Moog Music for such an awesome sounding/looking synth! This thing definitely makes one want to forget the Obies, Korgs, Rolands & Prophet Polysynths at least for a little while and I've owned them all but this thing is a beast! I Love it!
This is the best demo of the One so far by a mile. Unison voice spread is a nice idea. I love it how the promoters are making a meal out of 3 part multi-timbrality as if a thousand other synths don't have it - but this is with real analog of course. Your video shows more of the interesting features and some of the weird ones that are going to give it THE sound. Akso I live how you called the filter Multi Mode, which is more accurate than calling it Variable State.
Its so great to see the king of synth manufacturers giving people what they want for a change, not just a compact version of their best sellers (I'm looking at you, Korg!)
So beautiful. Really hope they do a sound module of this like the slim phatty to perhaps cut that cost in half. But even then, it would still be out of reach financially.
It looks like it's a heavy beast, so I am wondering if there are plans for a 'desktop' version of this dream machine. Also, I'm curious re: control pedal input(s). It would be nice to have two layers smoothly transition between them, or perhaps configured a footswitch to change from one patch to another.
It sounds very warm , incredible and very fat. I def def. hear it on something like Chromeo's stuff. It sounds just awesome. The filters are also great.
Was thoroughily unimpressed by the sound on the official MOOG demo ... just sounded like badge engineering ... but this demo shows this thing has a phenominal sound ... can't afford one, but boy do I want to be able to!
Between 8:00 and 8:35, I begin wanting to hear the beginning of the Alan Parsons tune “Damned if I Do”, which featured a sound like this one at the beginning. Exactly how many people will get one? And then, how many people will get it with 16 notes of polyphony versus 8?
Agreed. This is expensive but it’s the first new release synth in I don’t know how long that I actually really, really want to get. Worthy of the Moog name and the feature set is mind blowing. This is the new benchmark and arguably justifies that price tag.
Thanx for sharing! Your video is posted in our Moog One Facebook Group. A group for all Moog One enthusiasts! facebook.com/groups/1799075810168222/ You are all welcome to join ;-)
I consider this decade a revival of the analog synth. Maybe it's even more than that now. Maybe it's the best time ever for analog synths. This keyboard is a dream come true. If money didn't matter ...
pretty sure it will as the Memorymoog is now a few days old… and technology has progressed and Moog Music should be able to now produce In-tune analog polyphonic synths.
That rug really ties the room together.
Anybody need a Kidney?

I cant afford it, but i am grateful to hear this great synth!
Keith would have loved this new synth.
It sounds soo nice! It sounds like a new born classic...
Are u getting one?
Maybe I'm just in a better mood today, but I'm loving the tone in this video much more than the demos I watched yesterday.

It only took 15 years for someone to put out a competitor to the Alesis Andromeda.
I just talked to my pscologist and he told me to buy one of those!
THANK YOU Vintage King!!! This is the first demo I heard that REALLY makes the Moog One shine!!! Great recording and video!!!
The sounds from the Moog One in this video is awesome. I'm sorry but comparing a six voice poly to this is nothing but comedy. This is a classic and a top synth for years to come.
As Hans Zimmer said once: Either a Moog or a car. He still doesn’t drive.
A stunning synth for sure. Love that you can split the keyboard into three separate synth sounds with independent sequencing. But the price is a bit staggering.

I love the sound. If you play it as a mono synth, it just sounds like a Minimoog.
You squeezed a lot of useful info and great sound into a relatively short video. Fresh and nicely done!
So finally we have a synth which has capabilities and depth of complexity comparable to the Andromeda A6. I have been waiting for a long time for something like this! And it happens to be a Moog!
Not that it’s a competition, but you made it sound 327,000 better than sweetwater. Lovely demo.
That sound around 8:08 is super tight. Really does seem like Moog got the envelopes right on this.
Thank you for this wonderful presentation !
If it sounds this good just through a UA-cam video then hearing it live might make me misty eyed too.
Just when you think you’re doing well with your savings Moog comes along and messes your shit up with this.
Eventide Blackhole in the effect section?? Wow, great stuff!
OMG, what a beast! Typical Moog sound and beyond.
Thanks for this demo, the best so far! 👍

I love it, one day I will own one, I claim it!! lol thanks for the amazing video
This is the greatest sounding synth I've ever heard

My god, it's full of stars.
So beautiful. Really hope they do a sound module of this like the slim phatty to perhaps cut that cost in half. But even then, it would still be out of reach financially.
Excellent presentation, beautiful demo! I really enjoy your playing.
If I take a side job at 7-Eleven - how many shifts will I have to work before I realize...... I can't afford this synth?
if you love to listen one of the greatest intro made with a moog check the intro of the song "tarot woman" from Rainbow :-)
so glad that synth players are getting real music instruments again!
Thumbs up just for mentioning Goblin.
Claudio Simonetti has the bread to buy one of these.
Nice demo! Great to hear the 3 internal synths playing together @ 2:10
It looks like it's a heavy beast, so I am wondering if there are plans for a 'desktop' version of this dream machine.

Sounds excellent!
It looks lovely, i can't afford it but i give gratitude that i have my OPUS 3 maybe one day ;)
Phenomenal.
No substitute for the tactile experience of a flesh and bones synth that will survive for decades.
Wow!
at 7:54 to 8:44 the synth becomes an acoustic, organic instrument. freakin' unreal
Thank you for playing some synthbass.
That dude has three hands.
You just made my day
Correction: four hands 😜
No mate. The Moog One comes with extra arms. Cool eh, they think of everything.
He actually had 4 to begin with. 1 was sold to afford the synth (just kiddin :)
9:10 - amazing lead tone - there goes the kid's college fund!
A third hand is essential, can I get that as an upgrade :)
2011 Nissan Maxima sv for sale low miles !
Was thoroughily unimpressed by the sound on the official MOOG demo ... just sounded like badge engineering ... but this demo shows this thing has a phenominal sound ... can't afford one, but boy do I want to be able to!
2:50 is straight up Radiohead. Gorgeous!
:)
WOAH HE HAS THREE HANDS
Features aside this thing sounds amazing.
Between 8:00 and 8:35, I begin wanting to hear the beginning of the Alan Parsons tune “Damned if I Do”, which featured a sound like this one at the beginning.
Exactly how many people will get one? And then, how many people will get it with 16 notes of polyphony versus 8?
Does it have mono mode if you wanted to play leads?
Is it all %100 analog or are some components digital?
Can this thing produce phat bass like the subsequent 37?
Im really considering buying this. Is there another polysynth you would buy if you couldnt get this?
4:18 Holy shit, monstrous sound! Maybe an arm and a leg ain't too bad of a bargain
5:42
I'm the one natural one take it easy
You can take it inside
(Folk Implosion)
This is one of the greatest synths i've ever seen, but OH BOY is it expensive.. (8.700€)
Agreed. This is expensive but it’s the first new release synth in I don’t know how long that I actually really, really want to get. Worthy of the Moog name and the feature set is mind blowing. This is the new benchmark and arguably justifies that price tag.
Extra hands not included! Question: Are you exclusively demonstrating the 8 voice version here?
WOW
9:53 is it just me or did the mod wheel move by itself there?
This thing costs more than my whole studio, but damn it would be a good time.
Thanx for sharing!

Damn son
Can this do super saws though
A reliable poly from Moog is quite remarkable 🤣
Sounds nice. These oscillospes do seem a bit gimmicky though.
When will the 76-key model come out? 😁 😀
I just hope it stays in tune better than the Memorymoog did. That thing was a pain to keep working properly.
Cal Wells f This can stay in tune perfectly it seems, unless you don’t want it to, you can program it to be more loose for vintage sounds.
pretty sure it will as the Memorymoog is now a few days old… and technology has progressed and Moog Music should be able to now produce In-tune analog polyphonic synths.
That's how you do it DSI
The mother of all synths. But i get the C15.(Also a great synth and 4000 euro less)
Do I need to win a lottery to buy this synth? I guess I do.
Great synth but I still prefer the ob 6. Still this is about nostalgia and owning a future classic. I used to own a memorymoog.
Yeah I love the ob-6. I love mine. This thing is pretty unreal though. I imagine heaven as this synth.
is this one demo the 8-voice and 16-voice?
6.44 is straight off the new NIN album
F$#@ me! great sounds the whole way through.... just makes my heart swell!
Just in Time to Divert another Comet
Am I the only one that doesn’t like the raw sound of it?
I bet this thing costs more than my life....
I got the space for it, just slacking on the money...
Can I borrow $8000 from anybody?
Yeah it sounds really good but honestly with the same amount of money you can buy two different synths and make also not "moog-ish" sounds
fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
welp some day im gunna sell my sub37 and get this....some day
Sigh, if only.
Reminds me of Stranger Things music
MINTED...
First
Nice one!
Buy a nice car...put a deposit down on a house...go on a holiday of a lifetime....or buy this. I’ll go for the latter! 🎶🕶
i'm wondering what purists will say..........
