    Jimmy, I love your videos. My daughter has battled cancer for the last year and passed away on January 26,2025. 1 day before her 15th birthday. I spent countless hours in the hospital with her during chemotherapy so I had very little time to golf but I love your instructions. They are simple and practical. I was teaching mollie (my daughter) how to swing a club and I showed her your videos. We would watch them together when we could. From a brokenhearted father please keep the videos coming and to all fathers, never take a moment with your child for granted. You truly never know when it will be your last. Keep the great videos coming.

    Jimmy I watched you all last year and used your methods all last summer. Had my best summer golfing. Then I started in the fall watching single plane methods…not as drastic as Moe Norman but nevertheless, single plane. I am a senior golfer and was convinced it would be easier. I found I was too tense and thinking too much about legs, ulnar deviation, backswing, impact zone, etc…..then I realized your relaxed swing is on plane!! I have been at the indoor range practicing your method again and loving it. Someone once commented that you repeat yourself too much. Keep it up!! I watch all of your videos and need that constant reinforcement of what you are doing!! I have brand new clubs and looking forward to Spring 🌸🏌️‍♂️

      No camera cuts..?? Hahaha.. this guy just hit a ball 40 yd offline and he immediately CUT somehow to a ball up in the air... There's no one behind him controlling the camera so It can't look or turn or have a different angle than it did when he hit the ball miles to the right with a banana ball.. he doesn't use shot tracer cuz it would look like a bunch of right turns..

    Hi Jimmy, you maybe know that I'm a big fan. Thanks for everything so far.
    I had a round today (on a long, difficult linksy course in superb condition - St Michael's in Sydney) in which I learned an important lesson. The Tropicana Way has restored my enjoyment of golf, but today I learned that smacking that shit (thanks Manolo) remains important even when trying to dink it around the course for a longed-for bogey round. It's important to remain athletic and engaged, to truly put away all swing thoughts and smack that shit. Be a man, face the consequences and play on. But above all, be simple, strong and confident with every stroke.
    Thanks Jimmy!

    Hey Jimmy, love your content and have found it helpful for my game, particularly your chilled out demeanour!
    I have to say though on this one that “pulling” the club through the downswing with the left arm will tend to leave the face open most of the time leading to pushes, fades And even slices.
    You need to “push” with your right hand and arm for straight shots and draws, allowing for toe up on the follow-through. Left hand and arm are quiet!
    Check out Marcus Edblad on how to use your hands, very helpful! (He’s a Swedish long drive champion and cool guy).

  • @BrianBignold
    @BrianBignold 12 днів тому +1

    Your swing brings timing elements of opening and closing the face plus expecting people to have a good flexible core rotation. You have a nice nonchalant attitude and you keep the club on plane, your methodology is a simplistic Lead better concept without the fancy jargon which costs around $450 a lesson. You should have included the silver baseball bat replacing the club head to emphasize club rotation, do you remember that infomercial back in the early 2000's? Same concept.
    As an instructor I'm sure your biggest challenge is getting your students to trust the swing and not hit AT the ball.
    How is your success when swinging a 3 or 4 iron?
    Respectfully, what is "new " about your swing and how does this hold up with competitive players who are swinging from 180 mph to 200 mph, the timing becomes that much more critical?
    Fun video! 1, 2, 3...

      Seeing him hit driver is fairly new. Last year of vids, he almost always teed off with a 3i. Nothing changes. Swing easy, ball stays in play, you keep the +2's and +3's away all day and next thing I knew I was in the 70's.... with using driver maybe 1 or 2 times. Check out his ball position video, too. Unless it's a driver he plays them all in the back of his stance. I've only started moving my ball up a little bit. When I need to not go left off the tee, I will hit my 3i in the back of my stance. Might not get the height, but you will get a lot of roll. It's like cheating. Can't recommend that video enough. Hell, take a deep dive down JT rabbit hole of videos. They are all gems.

You always seem to use so little club, and no matter how much I try, the most I can carry a 7 iron is about 130 maybe 135 yds. On that club my swing speed maxes out at 77mph with a ball speed of about 108mph. I have listened to your video regarding hitting longer, but this did not help me. Have any suggestions?
