Join my friends and I for a fantastic day at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World, featuring a look at the Grand Floridian, Festival of Fantasy Parade, Rainy Day Cavalcade, Happily Ever After fireworks, as well as an overview of the Magic Kingdom After Hours event, featuring Disney Enchantment fireworks! We dine at Liberty Tree Tavern, ride lots and lots of rides and soak up the magic vibes in this super long Disney World vlog.

Our day starts at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village in our one-bedroom villa. The advantage of this villa, is that it comes with a kitchen! We use this to cook a delicious breakfast/brunch before walking over to Jamba House to have a look at the animals. From there, we take the bus over to Magic Kingdom. Upon arriving at Magic Kingdom, the heavens open, and Gary and I use this opportunity to pop over to the Grand Floridian to check out if the lobby has been refurbished.
We arrive back at Magic Kingdom just in time to catch the Disney Festival of Fantasy parade! We see Flynn (of course), as well as some other fan favourite Disney characters. Meeting back up with Max and Alex, Mickey’s Royal Friendship Fare begins in front of Cinderella’s Castle. I show a little more of the main song to hopefully give you those Disney vibes.
As for attractions, we ride Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, the Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, Tron: Lightcycle Run, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan’s Flight and Mickey’s Philharmagic. We have lunch at Pinocchio’s in Fantasyland and dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern; a family style turkey dinner. We use the Disney Dining Plan to pay for our meal, and explain how that all works.
Into the evening, we attend the After Hours event! This separately ticketed event (costing $135 + tax for a DVC member or Annual Pass holder) allows you to stay in Magic Kingdom for up to 3 hours after park closing. You get bottled drinks, popcorn and ice creams included, as well as minimal waits for attractions due to fewer guests in the park, as well as a special viewing of Disney Enchantment: the firework show that ran during the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World in 2021 and 2022. We give you our full review of the After Hours event, show you where to pick up your wristbands inside the park and whether it was worth the money.

It makes me giggle that they put you all in the Paul Revere room at Liberty Tree Tavern. Paul Revere was the guy who rode through Massachusetts in 1776 shouting, “The British are coming! The British are coming!” after the British landed in Boston 😂

Totally agree with the one gentleman who said with the added parts including walt and roy enchantment had me in an absolute PUDDLE of tears! Happily ever after makes me weep every time, but when I say I sobbed hearing walt speak and seeing that portion of enchantment everyone around me was in tears. I honestly wish they had left it in for the after hours events. Its so beautiful!

When I was a kid I think I was 7 . I was sick in the haunted mansion ride in the first bit .I remember everyone around me was saying "what great sound effects" a vast member for us out and the ride was shut down for 4 hours while they cleaned it up x

I was at the after hours event on Jan 15 and it was DEAD! I walked onto Tron and Seven Dwarves. It was a fun evening.

Enjoyed all 1 hour and 20 minutes of this video! I am so glad you are apart of my Sunday routine. It was great seeing the Grand Floridian. The Rainy Day parade was a cool thing to see. The food and drinks at Liberty Tree Tavern looked so good, I need to try it sometime. So glad Gary enjoyed TRON!! The After Hours event looks super fun and I cannot wait to attend myself in 32 days! That fog was insane, it made MK look so eerie (in a good way lol)
