It’s very clear that before luna caught her, she recalled every memory she had of her loved ones. She cherished them all. And at the end, Luna or whoever said “you’re gonna carry that friendship.” Which means she gave up on everything.

The little touch that Luna actually folds her wings to shield twilight for the shards is so sweet. Cannot believe I saw this 10 years ago. The memories of this fandom will last, and so will the friendships made through it.
My interest is the fact that if any kind of real science applies to the mlp world, Luna just covered over a quarter million miles in a matter of seconds.
So lets just say accounting for the slow motion time of Twilight falling. Based on the fact it seemed more like a "life before her eyes" kind of situation.
Simple search shows that the moon is on average 238855 miles surface to surface from Earth.
To say Luna accelerated from what can be assumed a stand still up to speed and back to a stand still without wiping out a continent shows a degree of invulnerability that puts any shield or villain to utter shame.
So time for some numbers.
For Luna to travel that distance in time she would have to achieve a speed of atleast 149,284,375 MPH, now lets keep in mind the speed of light is about 669,600,000 MPH. Quarter the speed of light.

@@curquhart5637 definitely not. However in the context of the show we know there is teleportation, long range teleportation. Which in itself is faster than light. Luna might have been just doing hundreds of max range teleports in the span of a few seconds. So besides the window fall catch that is done in every media and would shatter the person being saved just as much if not worse than hitting concrete, it seems pretty reasonable.
@@TheRandomYoYo Honestly I dont think it would be teleportation. As when you see her leaving the moon you can see her flight path plus a double shockwave alot like the sonic rainboom. The problem with teleportation is that each time she would do it she would have to charge her horn, only takes a second but in this case seconds really matter.
@@curquhart5637 Fair point, but even so, we know there is time altering magic, which means they have a way of going past light speed. So it's not really an issue except on their wing bones which are also shown to be quite fragile, haha probably some advanced magic on that too XD

There is something strangely nostalgic about this, and I don't think I've ever even seen it before. I haven't seen cowboy bebop either. The music and white visuals seem like something I would have seen in a dream when I was younger. I don't know how to explain this feeling - it's like that childhood memory that's so faint you can't tell if it was real or you just dreamt it. Maybe I did watch it when I was barely old enough to remember? I don't know. But there is something almost magical here

If you think about it it's really deep, because it represents the fandom dying and all the great times we share together in this fandom.
The friendship was magic
And it shows to reflect upon all the good things and how they made you who you are leading up to the now, and even as the fandom is dying and the show has ended theres so many of us holding on to that friendship and keeping us alive until the next generation
This is so extremely saddening and beautiful at the same time
I love the fandom and all the time I've shared with fellow fans and I hope we live on and carry the friendship

The song plays when Spike is falling through the air, after being thrown through a big stain glass window. The fall is in slow motion and he's seeing his life flash before his eyes.

God, it’s been that many years since this came out? Wow. I remember when I was hardly in the MLP fandom, somehow just barely managing to avoid all the creepy stuff in it, (I got scared by the actual show and instead just bought some of the toys lmao) and I decided to watch this. I didn’t remember or understand any of the flashbacks, all that stuck in my mind was Twilight falling to her doom and the blood rushing down her face as Luna caught her. Those memories, despite how short, stuck with me and definitely traumatized me, but in a very good way. One of my core memories, and probably shaped me into the person I am today. So thank you for this video, and happy 11 years of traumatizing kids! Hooray! 🥹🥳👍

I’m honestly a bit sad that I missed out on the high times of the fandom. I’m coming into it rather late.
I thought the show was going to be girly, and for like 5 year olds, though recently had someone tell me to give it a watch.
I’m very glad that I decided to watch it, been binging the hell out of it, currently on season 5 after about a week.
I was very reluctant to really watch it, but am glad I did.

This show, those ponies, that world, what it all did with my innocence.....it saddens me to think that I may never get to experience ANYTHING like it ever again, it was that unique.

I get severe whiplash from this not just from nostalgia (watched this when I was six) but the fact it was a cowboy bebop reference
Fan made story: All of the villains in MLP team up to beat the mane 6. They succeeded, and all of the mane 6 died, while all the princesses and strong ponies are captured by Crystalis, turning them to changelings. We see Twilight injured, thumping on the window probably trying to escape. Who I think is Crystalis does a magic uproar that slams Twilight out of the window. As Twilight falls, her thoughts are about her whole life, thinking about all the achievements she made, but leading to this. Luna is still alive and saves Twilight before she hits the ground.
Now its time for you to decide if Twilight died or not.
Fan made story 2: Luna flies Twilight back to the top of the room where Discord and Queen Crysalis are. The mane 6 are revived with Luna and Twilight's magic. The elements of harmony have been weakend and need time to regain their magic, but the mane 6 have always had a secret weapon to defeat any source of evil/darkness: Eachother. With everyone's friendship powers combined, The villians didn't stand a chance. They were killed and peace was restored to Equestria. Princess Celestia and the gaurds were reformed as innocent souls, and reunited with their friends and families. But there is more...
Some villians are still out there waiting to pop out of the darkness and attack the innocent beings of Equestria..
The mane 6 won the battle...But the war is yet to come.

with this. I think that video showed that everything is done, defeated. The Mane 6 were killed, the Elements of Harmony are weakened, and Twilight herself, wss almost meeting the end of her life. But there is possibility to your story.

I saw this animation 5 years ago, and I really thought it was true, I started crying and I even stopped watching the series, after a long time I realized that it was not true 💔. Now I realize that I was just a little girl with real feelings :').
