Let's take a moment to fully appreciate the stage directors, lighting teams, costume designers, choreographers, background dancers, ensembles and everyone else who worked on and off stage, who perfect all Broadway musicals and make then all the better. ♥
Of course all those people putting in the hours, years, of hard work are what made the show, and The World thanks them.
But will all of them remember to thank the guy who met Lin and his friends practicing The Heights on a street corner in The Heights one fateful day, became friends, and offered them his hip-hop concept mix-tape? (that raggedy rascal also offered a couple lines for Lin's Heights musical;)

Yes ... because every American should have the chance to see this ; it would do quite well at the box-office too. But I have to believe they've already filmed it, considering how many performances they've put on.
Yeah, I'm waiting for the day that they release the professionally filmed version of the show. Especially when way back Lin-manuel Miranda actually said that they would do it.
Weirdly enough, I know that moment. Back in school I've written a play in two weeks. And we successfully played it. And on opening night it went so well that after we where done people wouldn't stop clapping. After we as characters, cause I was part of the play in a small role, went behind the curtain one girl of my crew grabbed my hand, dragged me on stage and left me there, alone. And suddenly everyone stood up. Just for me, there was a standing ovation. It is my happiest thought. The thought that would make me, a depressive artiste that really struggles in life, fly with fucking Peter Pan if he asked me to think a nice thought. And so, yeah. I know what Lin felt on that stage, being applauded. That is a moment you will never forget. And it is so raw and fresh and new to you that even if you become famous someday and have more of these standing ovations, you will never experience that extreme of feelings and thoughts of just, well, good. Pure good. Pure happiness. If you felt it once in your life you know how unimportant most other things are, as long as you believe in your dream and find a way to show others what you had seen all along.
That’s amazing that that happened to you. Somehow reading this filled my heart with joy. I hope I experience something like that someday.

Seen it 10 times since it came on Disney +. I never got to see it in person either. I am so thankful to have seen it from my home on tv. To see everyones expression, the veins popping out of their necks from singing and the spit ( which I truly believe it’s from being so into his character that it happened) I thank god I was able to see it. For me it couldn’t have come at a better time. Something I will remember as a blessing in 2020.

Leslie is also VERY lucky to have his birthday on opening night. the quote at the end was so nice. a lot of people in other musicals don't really talk or hang out after the shows, but, for Hamilton, it's different. they are all such good friends and it's so cute. And referring to Leslie's quote again, I'm sure they won't forget that night.

When I saw this vid I didn't know what Hamilton was and how it was going to change my life. It popped up on my recommended list on my UA-cam. Then I listened to the soundtrack for the first time. After the first song, I knew that my life was going to change. Then I kind of stopped listening to it. Then I watched the Tony's and I fully understood why all of my other friends loved this amazing musical. Thank you Lin for changing my life.

Octavia ZestRP actually, for some people it does. For me, I was in a pretty bad situation and listening to this musical got me out of that zone and sent me back into another world. It really has saved my life, and really has changed it for the better.

My school has a similar tradition with all of our productions. A wooden duck is kept in the tech booth until the final night where the duck is put in the set and everyone has to touch it at one point during the show.

We also have a tradition like that! But ours is a lot more stupid. There's this teddy bear that wears a frog costume, his name is Six Pack. Throughout the entire production, he's hidden from a certain group, and put in/on/under/behind the set for all shows. If the other group finds him, we lose and then have bad luck for the show.

I know how you feel I want to make my dream of being on Broadway so bad! Hopefully we will all be able to do that!!!!
+Bands and Bunnies I'm not studying anything related to broadway, I'm studying 3d animation. But Hamilton? Hamilton made me dream of Broadway, it made me more curious about musicals it opened me to things I had never listened to before. And now? I want to be on broadway, west end, or even off-broadway I don't care, I want to be in a musical. I've started training my voice while continuing my studies, which I love, but someday, I will audition. I don't care I want to do this at least once. I hope you can be on broadway someday!!

I have no idea why, but I got kind of emotional when they were all on the stage before the show. I think it was because they do has realtionships on stage, but there also have relationships off stage and they really are kind of a family. From a chorus person to Hamilton or Burr. See, I'm a sap for this stuff and need to calm down

Man, when I saw Laurens up there talking... when I saw him with his backpack and hoodie... it reminded me that he's just a kid that found a spotlight among people that will cherish him.
And aren't we all just kids...? This gives me such hope.... from everything I've seen, broadway plays seem like high school plays but with bigger budgets, more talented people, and a wealthier audience.

+Tyler Maxwell Totally with you on that. On Tuesday, I saw Kinky Boots and got to go back stage and when I stepped out on that stage, I wanted to cry. I was like "I will be on a Broadway stage VERY soon; mark my words". It's such an overwhelming feeling :)
I hope y'all make it, it is my dream for a professional recording to required for every new show and revival coming on to broadway and west end. Then have a special Netflix like website for all theatre nerds.

I got to watch the musical for $10 and let me say, the it was AMAZING. I love how their voices bring life to everything. It made the ground shake and the people scream. Everything just played out so well.
