You've covered a lot of good ones (including some of my biggest requests), although there are a few others I'd like to see: - Ability/Requirement to shift animals into a holding- so that keepers don't enter with dangerous animals like tiger, lion, elephant, etc. - Similarly, shifts between multiple habitats- especially for some solitary species where males and females may only be housed together some times of the year, not year round. - more unpredictable system of death- sometimes, young animals die for non-preventable things. I think this would be a great way to make franchise more realistic. - More rules for release to wild- in real life, release to the wild can't happen hap-hazardly or at random- it'd be great to have more rules for what animals can be released. - Auto-generated zoo maps- place a map just like a sign, and it'll update with new exhibits as the zoo grows.
Well with that shifting animals into holding and between habitats, that is sort of where the backstage system was hinting at with the different gates that lead into different habitats, but it could be a lot more in depth in separating solitary species only being put together to breed. Unpredictable death would be an interesting addition The rules for release sound like a cool idea and so do the auto-generated zoo maps, that's probably a better way of doing it.
@@CartersWorld2024 well I think the scenery brush in Planet Coaster 2 sort of functions as sort of a middle ground between those two, placing foliage of a specific regional habitat type.
I would honestly love to see emperor penguins come to Planet Zoo 2 (my bias for Zoo Tycoon 2 shows here) albeit I wanted to ask. What would your full roster for Planet Zoo 2 be anyways?
Well like I said, 191 species would be returning, with four of the previous 195 being merged into single species like tiger, leopard, brown bear and grey wolf. But for the rest of the animals, I'm sort of still trying to work out what an appropriate starting number would be, like should it start with 80 or so new species with 30 new aviary, 30 new aquarium, 10 exhibit and 10 habitat, with an extra 5 for deluxe edition which would bring the roster to 276 individual species, but I don't know whether that is too high. But Frontier has shown especially with Jurassic World Evolution 2 that they won't drop existing entities from the roster, as all but 4 species from Jurassic World Evolution were added as part of the base game, with the other four being part of DLCs. But given the backlash they received from doing that, I don't think they will put any of the current species in a DLC slot again. But the roster itself is going to take some thinking on which species the game starts with.
That’s awesomesauce! Same animals as the prequel and all of its DLCs, returning to Planet Zoo 2, but in addition of new and accurate looks, including the hyaenas. Let’s hope the Timber Wolf must be the Eastern Wolf, while there are three subspecies of grey wolf, besides the Arctic wolf and dingo, represents the original “Timber Wolf” are Indian, European, and Northwestern wolves. About the tigers, let’s hope that there were two species, one was the Mainland, and the other was the Sumatran Island Tiger, but half the Sumatran Island Tiger, the Mainland Tiger will tolerate the warm tropic jungles, but not only pine forests and grasslands, but also they still tolerate snow and the cold. Let’s also hope the improvements for said spotted hyaenas, are the social limits being more than 4, and including their new deep swimming behaviors that people never seen before. Plus we can see new outskirts for Planet Zoo 2, represents the biomes, such are the Desert, the Shrublands, the Grasslands/Savanna, the Wetlands/Swamp, the Tropics, the Coastal(based on the temperate rainforests of the Pacific Northwest), the Temperate/Deciduous, the Taiga/Alpine, and the Tundra/Arctic.
D'autre partie de spéculation planet zoo 2 et les épisodes seront séparé animaux d'habitat, animaux de vivarium, aviarie, aquarium pour les spéculations sur les espèces
For this game I hope they remake some models to be more accurate like you said and also re-name the timber wolf to the northwestern wolf but that’s mostly a nitpick, I also don’t think this was mentioned but staff being more capable, like staff being able to bend over a bit to get under some lower arches and being able to wade in shallow water, also being able to place multiple habitat gates so if you have like an animal climbing between 2 islands each island can have its own gate but still be in the same habitat and the name feed quality and contraceptives are synced
Plus de variétés au niveau des plantes et plus d'accent sur les zones de coulisses la quarantaine,la gestion des animaux, l'éducation,la recherche, la conservation des espèces et la réintroduction etc et l'ajout d'autres variante de couleur ces les animaux
I mentioned this before but Ontogeny, better species specifications (gray wolf/Eurasian grey wolf instead of timber wolf), maybe something to due with choosing a specific subspecies (like ZT3), and uh what else… ah yes botanical gardens and museums (the most wanted things from the first game… sorry what do you mean aviaries and aquariums?) would be some things I’d very much enjoy
That’s sounds great I hope frontier watches your channel I do think there’s one more dlc as there’s some work happening on steamdb but that that could be anything. I think the zookeeper’s pack was meant to larger and the final but either they worked out they would make money for December dlc and maybe something wasn’t ready to be released that’s my guess
Everything here is genius. I'm having trouble finding words, but this is more than the ultimate zoo experience. Making exhibits more lively, more authentic animal behaviors, aviary and aquarium setups, freakin' whale watching, natural reserves for animals like indris and Ethiopian wolves since they can't be in captivity. It's overwhelming. Makes me wish this was being made now instead, but I want to think the current game still has some life left before being officially done. The deluxe roster is very interesting, and the system to select which species of tiger, buffalo or wolf you want to add instead of all the subspecies in one list does remind me of JWE2, but it also reminds me of Frontier's take on Zoo Tycoon where there weren't many animals, but so many subspecies. They even had macaws in that.
commenting this at the start of the vid so i don't know if you talked about this but i want biome changing because I'm building an African section in the uk and i know it wont look right if it was real life but i got so annoyed that the grass was so lush in my Africa part edit: also I'm really hoping i don't have to buy all the dlc that i bought and i can just download them onto planet zoo 2
Am I the only one who wants extinct animals (including mammoths, non-bird dinosaurs, etc) in this game (not counting Prehistoric Kingdom or Jurassic World Evolution games), while being paleo-accurate?
I specifically would want Cenozoic prehistoric in the game. Rather than dinosaurs. Let prehistoric kingdom have the majority dinosaurs. But Cenozoic animals would to me at least translate better. Especially because many have living counterparts and the de-extinction of some extinct mammal is something being worked on in reality.

I forgot to mention animal ambassadors as a possibility too, giving certain animals to play a role in representing their species in the public eye.
In JWE2 and Prehistoric kingdom there is a foliage brush that auto adds a bunch of plants of your choosing,so I would like to see it in planet zoo

One thing that would make Planet Zoo 2 superior would be by updating some of the animals in the game like the lion, crocodile, and the cheetah
Not ambitious enough.
