As an inquirer, I love the way “thank God” has such a different feel when Orthodox Christians say it. They are genuinely expressing gratitude to God, and it shows.

I loved this interview so much, thank you Jonathan! And, bonus that Tuck Everlasting was one of my favorite childhood movies. ❤️

Enjoyed this very much. Jonathan was far far more economical than I was. He’s such a present and sincere guy. We need more Hollywood Actor stories. I really like the video aspect to the podcast, Elisa. God bless you guys.

And so i am convicted. I was prepared to be underwhelmed along the lines of “what good thing can come out of Hollywood?” As a (former) evangelical i watched celebrities rushed to the cultural battlements even still wet from baptism. (Of course i know Elissa wouldnt do that, but skepticism dies hard). So what a refreshing spirit and mature set of insights Jonathan displays. Thanks be to God for His creativity in saving us, and blessed are we when we roll with it!

He demonstrated the new covenant lifestyle BEFORE He christened it to a room full of Jews...signed it with His blood and sealed it with His death...live as He did...love as He loved...
and as He hung dead on the cross His disciples STILL hurried to keep the Sabbath according to the commandment as per Luke...and Passover...
Hebrews 9:16-17 affirms the testimony of the testator goes into effect when the testator dies....Paul also concludes with the legal minded Celtics that a last testimony can NOT be changed after the testator's death.
Is why there remains for His people a Sabbatismos Hebrews 4:9...a seventh day rest keeping...a word borrowed from Hebrew as Greeks have their own word for Saturday but not the rest keeping...
