When passengers get on the bus they'll swipe their ticket on the oyster card spot, or ask to buy a ticket. If you don't hear the little beep when they walk past it means they're trying to ride without paying so you only need to get up and ask for tickets when that happens. It gets tiring getting up and asking every time you stop. Just a little note.

The reason why cars are letting the bus go , is that most european country has given buses right of way out from stops, in all speeds up to 60 km/h. At least here in Scandinavia.
In some European countries (f.e. Poland) you must stop and let the bus leaving bus stop enter the traffic. And I think that's why every single car is stoppig in BS 18

As far as I'm aware, there is no "right on red" in Europe, since the game takes place in Germany I'd be careful pulling those maneuvers, you might have just gotten lucky that first time.
Rain looks good in game, but the windscreen gets way too foggy too fast. So far, the rain effects are pretty good, but I think Euro Truck Simulator 2 did it better. Raindrops would actually hit the windows and slide down. But it's good though.
When that truck hit you in the round about it was the trucks fault because any vehicle in the actual round about have the right away and the drivers entering have to yield so you were all good Jeff!
One thing I noticed is the rear view mirrors are very dark compared to the rest of the game at night- maybe that's something to pass onto the devs? It seems a tad unrealistically dark
with the cars stopping.. In Canada Ontario if a public transit Bus has a flasher on to pull away from a stop it is the law that you must yield and let them in maybe the maker has that same law in there town

You should make your most experienced drivers drive the bigger better buses on the longer routes and your least experienced drivers drive the older buses on the shorter routes
Actually at least in NL, the speed indicated is often a little higher than actual, and when flashed/stoppe by the police a correction of about 4kmh gets taken off, so here you were practically doing 1-2 over. In a 50 zone. The admin costs would be higher than the actual ticket lol
