You missed the fact that you can use the arm hole baffle to smoke a bear trying to get in the tent with a 10mm, all without getting out of the comfy sleeping bag. Haha I'm buying one. Love this!
No way being a dad of 2 baby twins and barely making it buy already can even buy the peax products. Over $900 Canadian for a bag….. the head lamp about $130 the gaiters $200…. I really would appreciate if maybe you guys could make a selection of gear made for people like me who can really afford to spend that much on a sleeping bag. I really really want the peax products just it sucks it’s not really affordable to me….. 😢 anyways maybe this gets seen or maybe it doesn’t, would be much appreciated in Edmonton.
I hear you brother. I’ll be 50 years old this fall. When I was young, with a young new family I didn’t have the finances to buy the top-end gear that I wanted. I bought second-hand gear, used rental equipment, and waited in line for 20 hours at the local REI for their annual “garage sale.” The reality is, you don’t need top-end gear to do what we do-it’s a luxury and I’m glad I can afford to have it; but I made do with budget gear for the first 35-40 years of my life. There’s a lot of useful budget gear on the market. PEAX only has a few product offerings-their goal isn’t to make a ton of products-it’s to make new and innovative products that are better than what exists today. I want everyone to be financially independent and secure and ultimately wealthy-but it takes time to build the life you want. In the meantime, kick-ass with what you can afford and don’t worry about having the best gear. Canada’s tax burdens and economic woes aren’t going anywhere either. The middle class is getting crushed in both countries. But that won’t stop me from finding a way to succeed anyway. God bless you, your wife and the twins. Despite the troubles of life, I’m always grateful for the obstacles and the journey and I hope you are too.
The fact that Brian makes this good of content and would take the time to reply like this really speaks volume. Head up brother, things can change in an instance and the whole fam will be sleeping in Peax bags.
Well, if you’re not familiar with top-shelf backpacking sleeping bags then I suppose the cost might come as a surprise. But the SG Chilkoot, Western Mountaineering, and Feathered Friends are similarly priced while lacking the luxury of the PEAX Solace at a similar weight. Currently, the PEAX Solace is actually $560 when you use the code “GRITTY.”
Hello Brian, I bought one this morning and told them it was based on your recommendations.
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Super impressed with the specs! Nice work
Best bag I’ve ever owned.
I’m so impressed with this product that I would buy it in a 30 degree if it existed. She’s a warm one!!
Mine just shipped can’t wait to get it.
Outstanding!

😂 💯
Hey Brian are you in the regular or wide? Thanks
I’m in the regular and it’s very roomy for me.
Is there a plan to release a zero degree model? I would want a 15 degree bag for me and a zero degree bag for my wife.
I was wondering what massive puffy jacket this was at first 🤣
Everything you guys collaborate on are must-buys! We all appreciate the Gritty team more than you know 🦌🫎🐻🐺❤
Damn it @BrianCallGritty you're going to cause me to spend money again! LOL
🤘🏼😆
