Do what you need to do for yourself Cam. I think the best way to create good things externally is to be sure of yourself internally. I took a break from my channel too, always said it was temporary to get the creative juices flowing again. That was 2 years ago... nothing has drawn me back, in fact the longer I'm away the more reasons I have not to return. Once the creative suck of UA-cam content creation was out of my life I have never been more successful and happy in my personal and professional life. UA-cam is a drain. I'm sad I wasted all those years on a channel. It's a fun hobby and all, but in the end ones ambition will always take over and make you think its important and you can handle it. I didn't realize how much drained from me and my family until I walked away.
Love your channel, it's been and continues to be a huge help to me in a number of ways. Hope you have a great 2022 Cam!
I don’t know how you keep up with everything Cam, definitely deserve a break. See you next year when you get back - you are definitely a winner in my book 🙌

This channel helped me a lot to get motivated for cycling. As a new cyclist, I try to get motivation as much as I can, especially during winter (in canada); while you're riding inside and looking at an avatar and dreaming of summer rides. Your channel is my #2 reference after GCN. Keep on going Cam!

I come to this channel for your personality and honesty and you always deliver. One of my favorite videos from you is your cycling vlog where you just took a group ride with your mates, no power numbers, no serious review, just some dudes out riding and joking together. More of that please, theres hardly any bikes to review or buy anyway, have fun.

I have OCD and was a high achiever so I can see you put in great effort, but I think you are a natural, you seem a genuine person and have a lovely family. You could get away with being less structured and freestyle more, and relax about viewer expectations because its clear people love your company/presence. A big thank you from me, I appreciate what I've learned in such a small amount of time :)

love what you do !! don't ever give up! refresh your mind and soul by doing the things you love. The trick is doing the things you love and not associating it with finance. When the thought of finance begins to weigh more than love interest, then things get confusing, depressing even. When your thoughts wander into oblivion, let your heart guide you back to true happiness.

Every time that I go to coast down a hill (even the super step ones in Sydney's eastern beaches areas), I have that niggling video playing in my head where you emphasize the importance of continuing to pedal, whether it be up or down. Probably a good thing

Your approach to content is refreshingly down to earth. While the selfish side of me hopes to see some new content from you soon, I hope you take all the time you think you need, and then double it for your own well being and health. Hope to watch your stuff again sometime down the track.
