that Degenbreacher boss is a perfect example of what makes W stupidly broken. The damage itself is enough to put her at the number 1 spot but being able to summon 3 things that can tank as well as a defender while giving consistent stuns like a supporter is what makes her really really disgusting
Unless if the enemies have AOE attack aka those Bazooka guys or any enemies with Explosion like attack, Her Summons won't save her and in fact it will likely get her killed.
She deals a ton of damage, arguably the best damage dealer
She can summon incredibly tanky turrets
She's practically immortal
She can crowd control
Truly a balanced character
@@MilkyNepshe is immortal in a sense because her summons give her camo if they are adjacent to her. There is like no drawback to putting her anywhere.
@@angelosgames9960Ironically there are a surprising number of "AoE" enemy attacks that aren't actually AoE internally and don't affect Walter at all.

i mostly use 5-stars and i can't even imagine a single 5-star who can solo so many of those bosses, let alone two snipers that can do it
now i'm just imagining trying to use Executor or Aosta and Greyy the Lightingbearer against all those bosses
i still use chalter in some cases only because i like her sfx more

Chen deals less dmg but she also has a lot of upsides for example:
-Slow
-More shots
-Makes the enemy lose res so your other Operators deal more dmg to them
-She can still get a Module and perhaps she will be on the same lvl as Walter
She already has a module on CN
Wisadel also
- Doesn't need to slow because she one shots everything
- Doesn't need more shots because she one shots everything
- Doesn't need to make the enemy lose res because she one shots everything
- Doesn't need a module because she one shots everything
@@mededwa9937thats a rather stiff way of viewing it if you only consider damage, instead you could say she does higher dps off skill(higher than thorns even), she also stuns, cost less dp, more range, and basically summonable everywhere that has an open adjacent tile

The "Only" counter for Wis now is Spiky Chest in IS and Swarming Air Unit when Her S3 is down
Walter is crazy OP. But when comparing with Chalter, the VERY problem of using Walter is:
1. You CAN'T do aerial targeting once the ammo is depleted. You will need backup sniper for this.
2. Singular tanky mob can deplete her ammo fast, leaving no AOE for the upcoming horde; this is a problem not found in the spreadshooter archetype.
3. Singular weak mob with periodic spawn will also deplete her ammo like your wallet on weekend grocery sale, making timing as an importan variable when using her most powerful skill.
Well you've just pointed out differences in archetypes, they make sense but you can also say that Chalter worse than Walter because (insert sharpshooter archetype weakness compared to flinger)
Finally i can use Balans and don't feel like a cheater. W, your time will come as well probably in a couple of years, don't worry babe 😌

(Prob this is my coping mechanism of not having her since I've strated playing at her banner😮💨)
It's actually easier to "Solo" IS with Chalter than with Walter since sometimes 6 hits won't deal with the entire stage while Chalter actually does.
And in some cases enemies do pass behind Walter in between attacks.
I'm NOT saying Chalter is better, those are kind of specific situations.
However I do think that module-less chalter does more damage than module-lesa Walter.
Stop the cope. Even without the module Wis'adel is much stronger than Ch'alter and I'm a Wis'adel hater. Typhon already powercrept Ch'alter a long time ago. Saying that Ch'alter is good nowadays is just pure copium. Ch'alter had become obsolete since the release of Mlynar, then Typhon happened.
Walter can literally solo is4 d15.
@@tibbiesthehawk Wis'adel is still good even if her skill is not up, because the summons are tanky and has better stats than most casters individually and they can slow enemies too, she's still better than most snipers even without the skill. Ch'alter is very skill reliant and even her best skill pales in comparison to the likes of Typhon, let alone Wis'adel. I don't even like W, she's a trash character who was overly buffed by Hai Mao because she's his original character and his personal favorite.
@@macsenpai7006 To be fair to chalter, typhon on s3 shits herself if she is distracted/there are other enemies around the boss because it's not aoe, but that's about it.
@@tibbiesthehawk In most case Typhon's S3 is a more versatile boss killer. Typhon has better range (it's pseudo global range) and it follows the enemy even during its phase 2. Ch'alter is limited to her small range, even Mlynar's range is larger. Ch'alter has an outrageous DP cost as well. Ch'alter became obsolete after Mlynar's release, Typhon killed her. Wis'adel is not needed to kill an already dead unit.

Except even without a module she's still the most broken unit, the module just makes her deal EVEN MORE DMG just to be sure she won't get powercreeped in any foreseeable future.

This not close. Typhon's S3 had already powercrept that of Ch'alter's when it comes to boss killing. Then Wis'adel powercrept Typhon's S3. It's not even close. Typhon has been the strongest sniper before Wis'adel's release.

Typhon s3 isnt even a practical skill for most content wich is why her s2 is preffered.
@yuurina5092 Not really most players still ranked Typhon higher than Ray. Typhon is much easier to use. Typhon's skill 3 is not situational, sure there are stages that can somehow mitigate it, but it works more often than not. Typhon skill 2 is also one of the best AFK skills, Ray has only one good skill and is very reliant on her summon.

You should spark her when the next summer banner comes out on global
She won’t have a rerun, your only way of getting her is sparking or being very lucky and pulling her as an off banner next summer banner (Pepe’s banner). After that next banner she won’t even have the secondary rate up that the past 3 limited get as off banners, so basically the only reliable way of getting her is sparking. The silver lining is that she will be the first summer unit to drop in spark cost to 200 pulls but If I remember correctly it will only happen next summer banner so saving 200 pulls for 2026 summer banner is the cheapest way of getting her now.

And big ST can also be done by literally every dps these day but in the current newest IS which is IS5, mostly focus on cleaing wave so Chen is still highly used by plenty of players just as much as any other snipers
@@kyarumomochi5146 The reason that Ray was able to clear waves in CCB2 because of the low amount of enemies and her high damage, pozy cycle is good but you still need for the actual fucking value of her that is the typewriter to respawn for her to have actual value, her typewriter is literally her way of clearing waves, killing bosses and debufff. Instead of watching youtube why don't you just go and use her in actual stage, her aim is fucking shit, she doesn't target the heavy or bosses that right in front of her when there are enemies near by and stages limit her typewriter range so in paper she sound good but in practice she is dog water

@@kyarumomochi5146 Oh i can smell the reek of bias from your comments but okay. I'm not going to waste entire day explaining, but there's simply couple of factors that makes Typhon slightly better than Rosa (even though they both similar in their roles) 1. Typhon's S2 is better in terms of consistency and allows to AFK. 2. S3 better in terms of DPS even if it's worse in terms of stalling (tbh why stall when you can just kill we're on 5th year already) Rosa isn't "bad" she's simply needs much more investment and takes more time to pay off she's also less flexible compared to Typhon.
Chalter's more fun to use IMO😁
