I have had a love affair, through thick and thin, with the club since the early sixties and that will never die. Back in the time when we didn't have floodlights, and there was a wednesday afternoon match, I would run from school to Priestfield, wait until the gates opened towards the end of the game to watch the final minutes of the game. I almost always got a tanning from my father because I hadn't gone straight home but it was worth it. Even now, sixty odd years later, I still watch every match, mostly on iFollow or in person when I can get down to Medway for a home game. My heart is, and will remain, blue and white.

No one's trying to take advantage of you, do or don't. But imagine what we can achieve if we all do our bit on and off the pitch, and get behind the club in a (positive) way. The futures exciting! UTG ❤️

First taken toThe Gills around 1966 or 67. No idea who we played. I was taken by my uncle who lived in Upper Luton Road Chatham. Through my secondary school days in the 1970's, when I worked at British Home Stores in Chatham High Street (76-79 I was a regular. I left Medway in 1979 to join The Army. I have followed The Gills in Berlin, Northern Ireland, Kenya, USA, Canada, Kuwait. I was in Thetford uffolk the day we lost to Manchester City in the Play Off, Final and my Regimental Sergeant Major thought there had been a death in my family. Always followed The Gills from Simpson and Yeo, through Bruce, Cascarino, Richardson and Wilks to Ehmer, Williams and Hawkins. COME ON YOU GILLS

First game I remember was Crewe at home as a ball boy. Lost 2-0. Plus the Halifax game. I love this club. Wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

1995 when I was 10 I became a fan, but it was against Burnley in 96 at my first game I truly fell in love with the Gills!

My first ever game was Gillingham Vs Birmingham. Was in the way end as a 10 year old kid, Birmingham scored and I got crushed against the railings. Stewards got me out and took me and my Dad to sit with the home fans. From that day on - I was a Birmingham fan (as per my Dads team) but having grown up locally to Gills - I follow closely ❤
