Hey Tristan- i’ve been enjoying your Eastwood videos on the airline series. I picked up an airline Mandola a couple years ago and I absolutely love it. They have a distinctive sound, easy playability, and a satisfying price point for what you get when you buy one. Keep up the fine videos, brother!
Love how you almost sounded like a steel guitarist playing a chord while bending only one string. You got a wide variety of styles tones out of. 4 strings. Talent God continued blessings.
It should be fine to tune it ADF#B, maybe even GCEA. No idea what strings you would need but these should be some options with regards to the limits of the instrument itself.

Great playing!

Can you get a longer scale similar instrument , scale length of a bouzouki 650mm?
They do make several models of tenor guitars
Tuning? Can it take a baritone uke tuning?
It's a mandola so the tuning is CGDA. I don't know that it could handle the baritone uke tuning. Perhaps with different strings!
@@TristanScroggins -Yes, I knew that, but if you had the correct gauges, I was wondering if that would work
@Undercoverbus Sorry, I should have been clearer. I want to keep the steel strings, but use a dD, gG, BB, EE tuning
