I don’t know if ffs works in the delta, but thanks for showing us real fishing.
It definitely has its time and place out there, but when I’m fishing shallow and in the thick stuff I don’t find it useful.

Awesome to see a Punch fish so early in the season. So you’re sayin there’s a chance.
There is always a chance!!! My biggest punch fish have come in February, not many bites but usually a big one.

Mother Nature teases me with nice sunny weather during the weekdays and then when I get the chance to go out on the weekends, BAM cold front then post frontal conditions lol. I’m prepared to skunk this weekend once again but I gotta at least try😄

Agreed!!! Although if we managed our fisheries well they could be even better.
@@BeardedBassin this is true as well! Delta may not produce the numbers a lot of the motherlodes and Clearlake can but something is refreshing about throwing big baits/power baits and knowing there are plenty of giants to be caught
@Cper14 I hear yah on that one, it makes us a little spoiled, when I fish elsewhere I have to break out that one spinning rod I own. 😭😭😭
thinking about doing a trip down there soon, which boat launches do you recommend?
If you come down I suggest B&W it’s pretty central so it gives access to a lot of the Delta and they have little cabins that you can rent right there as well. Pretty good setup.
