I was 50/50 on this as a Christmas present, now I'm 75/25 in favour.
The main thing putting me off is it has a season pass and I do t like those as it mostly feels lesser.

I like your channel but a few reviews recently have not really been accurate. Great if you like it the game but I feel your over sell some of these games.
"accurate" they're opinion pieces. All reviews are subjective in the end. I have been accused of being too positive and I've been accused of being too negative. In the end it's how a game landed with the person playing it. It's not inaccurate, it just doesn't match your personal feelings. - Jesse
@@XboxEra people buy content based on reviews, so as a reviewer for a channel you should really base it on truth and your expertise as a gamer rather then lean into more personal opinions because your easily pleased with what a game is. I do follow the channel and like most of your content, but think my comments are fair.
Reviews are opinions. I fill them with objective fact but every single thing about any review anyone has ever written is their personal experience with it. You cannot have "objective reviews". Those are just stat sheets or performance metric breakdowns. I put in every fact that I think is relevant and then give you my opinion on the subject at hand. That is how every video game review works. - Jesse
It would be nice if as an Xbox channel you actually played and showed the game primarily on Xbox. Might as well rebrand to PCera
Would you have preferred no review? I got Xbox code in roughly 12 hours before embargo. I have a video of the first hour of the game on Xbox going live at launch. There's no point in our small channel putting up reviews late just to make sure they're on Xbox, they get no views when we do. I can't review a version that isn't ready in time. - Jesse
They get provided codes so they need to make a review with that code. If they had early enough access to an Xbox code, I'm sure they would have played and reviewed it on there... but clearly Ubisoft only provided them with a PC code early enough to make a review on PC.
@DucainPlaysYT I had PC code for nearly a week, I had Xbox code for 12 hours before embargo. There was no chance to do the review on Xbox. The game is longer than that embargo is and I couldn't afford to wait.
They've explained why they do this multiple times

Pass. Modern Ubisoft has a real problem with writing in their games.

Already explained in the review on here, and there is a section on our website where I go over the very late arriving Xbox version in text. I can only review what is available. PC code was ready a week in advance, console code was ready about 10 hours or so before embargo. - Jesse
