- In this discussion I talk a bit about Gray Witchcraft and how I practice as a Gray Witch. In this type of witchcraft, Gray Witches honor both sides of the coin and find the balance in-between them. Not everything is so Black and White which is the main reason that I personally prescribe to the gray path.

Agreed! Im glad this video was helpful. I really just wanted to get across the point that gray witchcraft is about balance, and that it isn't inherently evil because some gray witches cast curses.
I really enjoyed this. I first learned I was a grey witch (and a witch at all!) after I had a dragon spirit guide come to work with me. Researching about dragons, I found out that if dragons work with you you're a grey witch. I mean, I am not one to let anyone tell me what I am, but it made sense considering the circumstances surrounding the moment the dragon revealed itself to me had to do with a strong presence of both GOOD and EVIL. (I was taking an "intuitive drive" and ended up in this area where you could pull off the road to hike down underneath a bridge. There was graffiti on the stone wall to the left of me, and someone had painted the name Epstein on it (i.e., evil personified). The car parked in front of me had 444 on its license plate, which to me symbolizes that angels are present (i.e., presence of goodness).
I think grey witches are the ones who aren't afraid of evil, and therefore can actually perform the most powerful magic. Harry Potter (fictional regardless) is an example of this. He is touched with Voldemort's evil, which means he can peak into Voldemort's mind and speak parseltongue. In other words, he UNDERSTANDS evil because in essence evil is a part of him. Which is true of all of us, grey witches are just more comfortable with that. When we can speak the language of evil and understand the mind of evil, we have the power to overcome evil. This is the path of the grey witch.
Thank you! Whoa that is really interesting, it's always a trip when the universe just lines up like that. I can definitely see how dragons would favor gray witchcraft, many spirits operate in a rather chaotic-nuetral way.
I think, for myself anyway, gray witchcraft is the natural result of my spiritual stance in gray philosophy. Witchcraft has always been a tool for my personal development and an aid in my search for wisdom. I tend to veer a little closer to the left-hand path in that regard. I don't find my definition within understanding evil, as my practice doesn't only concentrate on the sliding scale of human morality (good vs evil). Basing alot of my magick on the spiritual concept of sacred duality, I work with an infinite web of interconnected sliding scales. Such as creation vs destruction, energy vs void, physical vs spiritual, and the duality of each individual aspect of reality/nature. For example working with the changing seasons is just as much a gray practice as casting baneful magick in my eyes. I find my definition as a gray witch in the act of working liminally within the universal balance.
Gray magic is a topic that isn't easy to come by, so thanks.
I am looking into witchcraft, and I am not sure where my path will lead me. Thank you for your honesty and openness; that takes a lot of courage.

Grey Magick transmutes to Silver, Platinum, and Mercurial Alchemy has been my mindset, it turns into a lower base metal than Gold, but then one higher than Gold, and finally Mercury, as a metal and obviously a concept, which all of this is conceptual, is the Roman version of Hermes, and Mercurial Alchemy to me according to my perception of the download is is Transmuting this wisdom of Grey Magick and aligning with the Cosmic Culture of Alchemy, and this Mercurial Path is like a mirror, and it's fluid. I think we are really opening our minds to the knowing of the union of opposites. Really liked your video. I think you are spreading wisdom.

I'm just gonna say magic is available to anyone ! You just have to tune into nature and block out the way the world runs including society and law ..our conciousness is power and or eyes are not just spectacles they are projectors.. and if we study alchemy and get involved with nature this puts us on a path to true enlightenment and taps into your potential to bend nature to your will due to using the vibrations of or conciousness witch is one with the universe..this goes for anyone , the oath you chose in this life will reflect on your next life ! And this may sound crazy to alot of ppl but be aware of the power of words specifically coursing ppl with words ..your words , much like a prayer sends energies that can be directed but it has to be mastered and this as a hard thing for most ppl to do ..

Me too! Gray magick to me just seems like the philosophy of nature and magick itself. The practitioner really decides how to direct that energy. But at it's base, all magick is gray. That's what draws me into the concept so much.
I was going to adopt a spirit vessel but it uses grey energies. I wanted to understand the gray energy. And so I really love the example you provided about the beauty and the beast. I think its like slightly karmic justice. But like you mentioned theres different type of grey witches. Even though my religion is about Jesus and other saints. I'm still open in learning more about magic. There's even a person who is catholic and works white magic. However the consequences are that they will have to battle against evil. But like the person who commented below in order to work white magic you also need to understand black magic. And so my belief is that we shouldn't judge others even if they do white, black, gray, green, red, blue etc magic because each person is free to do whatever they want. In the end if we are pursuing happiness why can't they be happy too? Each person is different and we should respect that. So it doesn't matter if you don't believe in magic or not...what everyone wants is respect. And as someone like me who is catholic they have teaching us to respect. Now there's people out there ,who I'm not gonna name, that really bribe and steal money from people just to enter and pray to god. So it doesn't matter the religion you are but if you are really religious you SHOULD by the order of the universe know how to respect.
Black magic is like an axe it can be used to harm but can be used for good like building a house

Thank you for explaining this. I’ve just been getting started into learning about witchcraft and stuff like that. It’s a bit hard to start but my sister recommended looking into different types of witches, and I happened to stumble upon the concept of a gray witch. It was a simple post online, couldn’t have been more than a few sentences, but it was about balance. And it really stuck to me and connected with me. Remember to always listen to what rings true to you and you will always find your path. Also never let anyone tell you how to be a witch! Being a gray witch can be hard because you are sort of "stuck in the middle" and witches on both sides will have opinions to try and shove down your throat!

My runes have been telling me about spiritual growth, seeking a path, and I thought I was because that I needed to read more (still the case). I'm a little biased because I am a gray witch, but I think gray witchcraft really opens your eyes to the way the universe functions. I've learned so much just paying attention to the balance.

I love riding the fine line of the label as a "grey" witch. Imagine being so limited to one streamline of thoughts. I say do what you will with magick.
Totally agree with ya, I adore how gray philosophy is all encompassing and limitless. There isn't an obligation to feel a certain way about anything in the occult realm, which seems to differ from alot of other spiritual systems I've come across. The beauty is that gray comes in many hues.

White black gray you have a lot of good points and make since . Iam 47yo ive been practicing my craft since i was 18yo magic to me is a little of both .but also like mother nature can be both good and bad . Ive have use mostly white but to pertect my self or loved ones ive been on the other side of the fence. I guess it all depends on why or what going on to help us do what we need. Light can elevate or burn;
Angels can cut cords, and they can smite.
Darkness is like the Womb, the Loam, the limbic mycelium. It is during the night we sleep, and heal, and make love...

I might make a whole video about this because this is a good question. So you don't have to do anything special to become any type of witch other than simply resonating with that certain aspect of witchcraft and then practicing that aspect of witchcraft. Since you told me that you are a baby witch, I would say do as much research as possible on gray witchcraft before you commit to it. Figure out what it means to other people and figure out what it means to you. If it is something you resonate with then start living your best gray witch life. Gray witchcraft is alot about balance, alot of people think that gray witches are witches who cast both curses and helpful spells. When in reality it is more about the balance of complex connections between all of reality. It might help to go out in nature and try to learn all about its mechanics. Hi im so sorry i haven't been able to get to your comment. You kight try the Gray Witch's Grimorie by Amethyst Raine. But I have found that the universe is the best teacher when it comes to gray witchcraft. Try meditating on the balance between chaos and order in nature. Think of the food chain, natural disasters and on the flip side think of love and the good there is in the world.
I follow the law of three as well and I follow the ultimate deity of karma open for decussion
Ahhh karma, always a good discussion topic. I find that the western new age understanding of karma doesn't fit it's original context. I don't really believe that karma is waiting to smite people who act negatively. Like "instant karma" isn't even really possible. Karma in my understanding is the energy created by your actions that dictates your experiences in your next reincarnation, that is more along the lines of how karma functions in Buddhism and Hinduism. As far as the law of 3 goes, I think the history on it is a little shakey which makes me not resonate with it so much. I used to believe in it when I first started but I thought every witch did then. Lol
I was interested if there is something like this and I found it, because lately i’ve been feeling very neutral/ balanced, and have been seeing life from an outer point of view, and i’ve been very spiritual but I connect reasonings with philosophy, and have been open minded, now I know little of magic but like I said i’m open and always known of light and dark, but with this certain feeling, I just knew there was grey magic/ witchcraft and i’m not really sure of being a witch is a guy thing but either way it is quite interesting, so appreciate the information!!!

"Witch" is an absolutely gender neutral term! Anyone who practices witchcraft is a witch. I find magick is a very rewarding practice. I've learned alot about the mechanics of reality through magick. Some people just want the ability to manifest because it is a useful skill, but if you learn magick to learn about the universe around you than you open yourself up to a a crazy journey.
I think I might look into grey witchcraft and green witchcraft because I connect with both paths. Wish I had a witch to help me out and all lol. Do you know of any witches that are open to help baby witches?
Though I identify as gray, I do also identify as eclectic as well. I hate being put into a box with choosing a path. Practice the magick that you like and don't practice the magick that you don't like. I'm always here to help answer questions to the best of my knowledge, im happy to help.

I think some great begginer books are "The Solitary Witch" by Silver Raven Wolf, "Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs" by Scott Cunningham, and "Runes The Icelandic Book of FUTHARK" by Teresa Drofn Freysdottir Njardvik. The one on runes is great because it is all based on academic research but its also a very begginer oriented book.

What is the law of 3
It's a Wiccan concept. Basically, whatever magick you cast will return to you 3 fold. So if you curse someone, something 3x worse will happen to you. If you bless someone, something 3 times better will happen to you. I personally don't believe in this concept. History shows that this is a very new age belief. Baneful magick was widely practiced since antiquity, and we don't see the invention of the law of 3 until the introduction of Wicca in the mid 1900's.

"Buckland's Complete Book of Witchcraft", Wiccapedia is a modern take on witchcraft I found it interesting yet basic," Natural Magick The Gray Witch Way", "The Gray Witches Grimoire" is lack luster but It is one of the few books about gray witchcraft. Stay away from books like "Basic Witches". It would also be worth it to check out the work of Aleister Crowley. The "Kybalion" and the "Hexagradior" would be great if you want to get deeeeeep into it.
A wonderful topic and I enjoyed watching and listening to your point of view. I hope that you are well and remain happy. I don't see that there is a right or wrong, there isn't good or evil There just is. Magick isn't good or evil it is. what you do with it can be construed as good or evil, right or wrong but those concepts are social and learned. They don't really exist they are human concepts that we tell each other so that there is a chain of command and so one group can control another group. the easiest way to control others is give them a concept of what is right and what is wrong and then once it takes hold you have control. You yourself don't have to live by the rules because you know they are not real but others that believe feel they have to and boom ! The law of three is just pagan's version of a power who commands you do as they say there version of the Christian God. If the rule of three or any form of it was real then good things would always happen to good people and bad things would always happen to bad people, if you believed in that sort of thing. But the real world doesn't work that way "bad" people usually win and "good" people usually gets the short end of the stick. 3:34 there is the most important word you could use Perception.
I agree! I kinda want to remake this video, now that I'm a bit more used to the camera and more eloquently spoken 😂 I really could talk about this subject forever. Though I know good and evil are human constructs and mean very little in the way of nature, I of course I still have my own set of morals. It is kinda odd to navigate a world where you know good and evil are down to perception and also forming a code of conduct for yourself. All while alos avoiding being controlled, and controlling others with your ideologies. It takes an incredibly open mind to embrace gray witchcraft and then live a life within it.

Ohhhhhh. See witchcraft is a practice. Wicca and paganism are religions. So you can be a wiccan witch, a pagan witch, an athiest witch, a Christian witch... so on with every religion. Wicca is the religion that believes in the law of three. Gray witches are ok with cursing so usually gray witches are not a part of the wiccan religion. But may be pagans. But any type of witch can have any type of religion.

In my family we all have a unique and subtle ability my sister's can calm animal's with there presence my brother can make people see him as he imagines himself mostly he just uses it so people baby him me I mess with energy (emotions/electricity) all of it I can't use cheep teck or be around it In a bad mood it malfunctions lights flicker so on and so forth and don't get me started on my mother she just causes problems and curses her family if we disagree with her so I bound her and my brother to a fucking tree yah all there power is in a tree and now I see them struggling with out there power like a deer learning to walk

I think you've confused being a witch with being a wiccan. Witchcraft is a practice and skillset. Wicca is a religion that believes in the spiritual concept of "The law of Three". Casting a curse literally violates the Wiccan Rede, which is where the law of three appears... because it is a wiccan concept.
Witches are people who practice witchcraft, and they are free to be any religion they want. Shoving the wiccan religion's beliefs down every witch's throat is not OK and wrong.
Repent of all witchcraft and other sins......Jesus Christ wants to save you, repent and accept Him as your Lord and Savior!
That isn't the way to convert someone. You see I feel disrespected by you now, which makes me resent your religion. If you were accepting of others people's faiths and talked to me with respect about your religious beliefs I'd be more willing to hear you out.
