I was considering about buying Logitech Brio 4K, Razer Kiyo Pro and Elgato Facecam and decided to go with Elgato Facecam but now I think I might go for Mk.2, thanks a lot man, high quality video as always!
I ordered a second hand Facecam m.2, i watched almost every webcam review on your channel, including logitech c930 brio and so on, and i decided to buy m.2 . I most of the time stay in dark room while gaming so low light performance is important for me, thank you for reviews they were very usefull
Thank you for the unbiased review! So many on UA-cam talk about being honest but they're clearly not. Clean video examples, lots of detailed explanation with no bullshit in between. I was looking for something decent to compliment/replace my Logitech Stream-cam, and for drumming/40k painting streams. Just picked one up on Amazon for $215 AUD. See how it goes when it gets here in a couple of days!
The better privacy cover is an absolute win, and the different monitor stand and form-factor might help some people. But I'm still not conviced about the HDR. Maybe it works better in some cases? Like, if you don't have enough light? Or, if you DO have _very_ bright lights? I also wish you had tried to match the images as close to each other as possible, for those people (like myself) who already own the original one, but who also might want or need to buy the mark-two (as a second camera) somewhere down the road. PS: The "specks" or hot-spots are not dust, but imperfections on the sensor, if you really crank up the ISO. In normal usage, you can barely see them, so I wouldn't really worry about them.
Just bought it yeasterday. Now i'm 25-50% more hype about it. Can't wait to mess around with it. the low light grain is good to know.. bc 95% of my room is dark. (all most all lights comes from my two monitors)
My windows pc and the camera hub program show the elgato facecam mk2 but I can not see a video... everything is just black. I already installed the program again.. unplugged the cam.. started the pc new.. updated the firmware.. nothing helped. I bought the cam today :(

Thanks for your reviews. I have Logitech Streamcam and looking for a second webcam. I saw your review of new Logitech MX and Elgato Facecammk2. I would love to see comparison of those 2, side by side. Is the new Facecam really so washed out as I see on some reviews? What are the colours like in those 2 webcams?
Logitech Brio MX 4k versus Elgato Facecam Mk.2 video coming soon? :) Currently im using the 2017 logitech Brio 4k and I want to upgrade it with one of those two.

Great review. Im guessing you recommend this over the MX Brio or the Facecam Pro unless you absolutely needed 4k?
Yeah for 1080p only this is probably the best option out right now.

As long as you have enough even light then yes!

MK2 or Pro?
Do you think this could be the best webcam below 200$?
It's tough because the Brio exists and it has 4K but definitely the best 1080p webcam at under $200 right now.
Does MK.1 stutters only for you or it's an universal issue? Do other webcams stutter too?
It's not universal, but others have had this issue also if you look at Reddit. This is the only webcam I have with this issue.
At this moment, which is the best webcam in your opinion ❤️
Razer Kiyo Pro Ultra.
Why people keep saying it has HDR? It's not HDR, it's BSDR.
I was wondering if this webcam has a microphone?
Neither do.
How good is it if you don't install the Elgato software? 🙃
Still works the same, it's just more annoying to adjust the settings and a few are missing.
