Leaving SM and finding her true self was the best decision she ever did. She got to know how to use her own instrument very well without pushing it too much. And now look at the amazing result of her hardwork 🥺How gorgeous the quality of her voice is and how these kinds of songs sits so well on her register. She's truly a Gem. A true performer that never failed to show us a journey of perseverance and continuous improvement. She's THE Icon. And If I may add, Jungwon + Tiffany is a force to be reckoned with. They're just so amazing 👏
If Tiffany stayed singing within her early register and didn't work to push and expand her range when SNSD was active we wouldn't be hearing that beautiful, high, and light harmonization in the first song or those intense final belts in the second song of this performance. Leaving SM further honed the hard work she already put into SNSD it didn't make everything she did suddenly "click" into place.
Tbh her singing seems the same as it has for the past 10 years but maybe her placement was bit better here than usual. The truth is Tiffany always sounded good in this key, the notes in this performance are in the sweet spot of her range, especially her belting range. Under SM, the notes were higher leading her to push a lot more and sound less pleasant. It wasn’t her technique that changed, but the key of the songs. She sounds beautiful here and I’m so happy that people can hear her voice where it shines the most. Still, I do agree. Leaving SM was a great decision for her because she has so much more freedom now and like her members have said and it’s always been so evident; she will be working hard for a very long time no matter where her passions take her.

Tiffany, I'm so so proud of you, I'm glad I get to experience your talent and growth on a regular basis, and Choi Jungwon thank you again for taking such good care of her. I can’t watch this without feeling emotional and overwhelmed with pure joy and proud seeing how Tiffany’s been able to finding herself and truly enjoying life right now. I don’t even know how if words can do justice, but she just keeps getting better everyday. maybe it’s the confidence, or whatever that is, it’s just sooo good seeing her glow
