I agree with the home point it is hit and miss but what I noticed is that when you take your Rigs out for the first time am sure it recorded the line travel and once GPS was set it did a massive arc to avoid the lines getting hit when it were coming back, the home point goes down to the signal of your phone really so it can have a mind of its own but once near I mainly switched to manual mode, the hoppers are small but still bigger than alot of other boats on the market but bare in mind it does have a separate rig dropper on the rear of the boat and the best way to use it is drop your bait first travel out a tag more then drop your rig to allow for the pendulum effect in your line being tight, overall I would say its a cracking boat for the money even tho I did sell it to no longer needing it and this has upped the catch rate
To be honest, I bought the wrong one, I wanted the carbon looking version as I like the long hoppers, like the microcat i had a few years back..what do you think mate, should I get the bait boat 2 or stick with the bait boat 1 that looks like a Hyundai? Thanks for responding 👍
Personal the microcat is a hard boat to beat for its price, if I were to buy another boat I'd be either rt4 or microcat, am not bothered about all the bells and whistles any more GPS is nice but at the same time it's a fad and you do go back to manual mode most of the time anyway, with the GPS to work fully you have to leave the boat turned all the time unless you save the spots via your phone if you don't save them on the phone then turn the boat off its all wiped off, if your on tricky waters and go to different venues it's a good tool for dropping everything on the same spots
we had a micro cat mk1 and there awesome boats id love one my self but id only use it for pike fishing taking out the dead baits this way it saves a trebbles cracking off and risking the fish saftey id be tempted to keep that boat and see what a gps auto polite would cost if every thing else is ok,the new nd bait boat looks good so keep an eye on that one longer hoppers etc
I had the same boat and my experience was awful I had three of them sent and never got any of them on the water as every one that was sent out was faulty and of poor build quality. Also customer service was terrible no reply to my emails took me over a month to get answers and eventually get my money back. So be warey of this as I thought I would get good service but that didn’t happen may have been a one off but that’s my dealings with New direction.
Sorry to hear that mate I think we can all say we've had bad experiences with companies some time in are life I know I have and yes it puts you off especially if there not helping you if it's a honest fault with there item I've been lucky with the boat and alarms but each to there own again, no one pays me to promote there items I just buy them like we all do and I share my personal thoughts, I ain't buying every bit of tackle out there as am only buying what I want or need
Yeah like I say may have been a one off . Was a shame was looking forward to having it as part of my fishing but to have three sent out and all be faulty was abit excessive had to buy it to find out though all an experience

nice heads up that camo 👍 my microcat mk1 is getting old now and the tech is moving on time for an upgrade and time to start saving
