- This interview with my great grandfather Pierre Monteux landed on my hands a couple of years ago. The recording was taken from a vinyl and needed some restoration. So finally I got the right tools to do the job.

So finally I got the right tools to do the job. The year of the interview is unknown I guess it must have been sometime in the early fifties.

The Heldenleben recording he refers to was not released until RCA's Monteux CD series thirty years ago. Monteux was likely 73 here.
