I lost my aunt Dianne Bullis Snyder who was a flight attendant on American Airlines Flight 11 that hit the north tower at 8:46 am on 9/11/01.
It's not easy to remember what happened in 9/11, even for the entire world. But he reminded us yet. And the performance was very touching yet beautiful. Awesome, man!
18 years later it is so hard to forget what happened on September 11th, 2001. Alex Dowis reminded us all to never forget. This was an awesome tribute to the first responders. I hope he is in the finals

I have a family member that was trapped in the second tower that fell and was trapped in the upper floors, this video made me cry, thank you do all the first responders that helped save life in the most devastating day in American history 😢

What a great thing for him to do to commemorate the 9-11 victims, first responders and everyone! I can never forget that day and hope that everyone keeps all of the victims and the heroes that sacrificed for everyone. Great performance! Time truly flies and cannot believe it has been 18 years!

This makes me tear up. So many people have forgotten the victims of the tragedy that was 9/11. I am so happy that he paid respect to them. I started to cry when he showed the first responders. My big brother is a first responder and I know that, had he been a firefighter/paramedic that day, he would have gone straight into those buildings with no hesitation. He puts his life on the line every day he’s on duty. He just got done fighting a fire yesterday. I’m so proud of Alex Dowis for doing this. Thank you to him and my brother and all the first responders, then and now. May the victims and their families find peace.

Love this act because it’s something unique and different. Love the music also it made it that much more emotional for me at least. I still remember standing in the gym taking a moment of silence 18 years ago I was in grade 4 and my patents were just about to leave for a holiday to Mexico. Hard to believe it was that long ago it still feels like a year ago. Thank you to all the men and women who fought/fight for our freedom and to the first responders 🇨🇦❤️🇺🇸
i teared up. Loved this performance so much It was touching as well and very well put together love how it tells a story. 18 years later i can remember being in kindergarden looking into the manhattan seeing the amount of smoke. Will never forget it
