We got to play this course during the soft open (the grand opening will be in the spring), and I just have to say huge congratulations to Jeff, Cara, the volunteers, and the TRCA! This is an amazing course and we can't wait to go back and film a full Discovering Disc Golf. The work that went into this course is insane! The beauty is definitely something you need to see in person. Ima say it, I think this course will be one of the best in Ontario!
I met Jeff & Cara a few years ago in PA @ The Lost Valley Open. Both are just fantastic people with a love for disc golf. So glad you guys finally got to meet them. They are perfect for growing the sport.
Glad to see more courses being opened in Canada. Barrie got one too from what I hear. Love your vids and always remember you and Chris graced my local course at Birch Point Park in Thunder Bay.

It is an amazing course. I also can't believe how much work they've done since this video to where it was opening. Seeing 17 and then playing it - you'd never know it was the same thing. Great course and well worth checking out if by the gta.
The idea of the Rabitats is really cool, but log walls became a problem at Parma DGC when they got too big. The decaying wood became unstable and prone to collapse, as well as the weight of the logs compressing the soil around the base of the trees that support the walls. That pressure ended up strangling those trees and those were some of the first to die on what is now Hole 14. Keep those things below hip height!
What an amazing way to help nurture disc golf by highlighting sensible environmental use of the land. Disc golf is in harmony with nature, unlike ball golf which destroys nature. Thank you to the forward-thinking conservationists in Canada. We yanks could learn a lot from you.
Would love to see you on the KallmeKris (she's Canadian too so y'all know each other right lol). I love disc golf podcast but if pros are only talking to disc golfers (preaching to the choir) how can we reach the masses.
I have one full course 20 minutes from where I live and the next closest one is an hour and 45 minutes away. 😭 Once you make your way to Toronto, there are many more courses but compared to the States, we have very little.
@@missfrisbeesMy apologies then. When I was watching it, it felt like when someone is 'trying' a new piece of equipment but they've been sent it to try. I agree completely with your sentiment though. We have a company here in NS that is building courses across the Atlantic Provinces. Check out Flickline and Ben Smith if you're interested.

So cool, I am playing Albion Hills tomorrow. What a coincidence. 😅
Great job ! Keep up the good work
Were you able to play Hillcrest? My favourite course in Canada but in a few years this course will beat into a beautiful top tier course.
I have not been that way yet! It’s definitely on our wishlist!!!
That Albion hills guy is really funny

It's sponsored content made to look like it's not.
This was not sponsored, but even if it was I think it’s important to show the hard work these people put into growing disc golf in Canada!
