I'm a law student and I know this case very well. In fact while I was doing one of my internship in Patna High Court, my senior had represented the state on murder charges on Shahbuddin. My senior got him sentenced for life imprisonment.

This story totally broke my heart i can trust a venomous cobra but never a politician no matter what party he or she belongs to.
सोहराबुद्दीन से भी बड़ा ख़तरा था लालू-राबड़ी, पूरे बिहार में ही अपहरण और हत्याएं करवा रहा था ये परिवार, सबसे बड़े माफिया लालू को सत्ता से हटाना ज्यादा जरूरी था, सोहराबुद्दीन को बाद में अंदर करवा दिया गया. जब दो देश के दुश्मन सामने हों तो जो ज्यादा खतरनाक है, उसे पहले निपटना जरूरी हो जाता है, अगर लालू को सत्ता से ना हटाकर एक सोहराबद्दीन को पहले पकड़ते तो दो दर्जन सोहराबुद्दीन और बना देता लालू. इसलिए पहले लालू को हटाना ज्यादा जरूरी था.
