Akuila Uates best 100 metre time is 10.82 seconds, Haynes is over 11. Although Uate may be slower now as he has gained alot of muscle mass over the past few years, he was, atleast at one stage quicker than Jarryd Hayne
no hate to K. Gordon but honestly how does that show off his speed he has 15 meters ?
I can tell you that over a hundred metres in warriors pre-season the fish was 'suposedly' the clearcut winner by about 8metres, so yeh he's pretty fast. I think the Tighe for the panthers this year has shown some serious wheels too.
Glenn Fishiahi is super fast, definitely deserves a spot. and shaun johnson chased down jennings last week

NRL should have a charity race at end of season. Fastest player with your obvious entrants and some others such as fastest ref, prop etc.
@Zac Fitzy cause ive gone for knights all my life, and hayne burns slater over 100m, a few years ago in origin hayne took an intercept try and slater tried to chase and just kept getting further behind, but thats ur opinion and i respect that :)

Kevin Locke was pretty fast last year.. but hes been carrying an injury most of this season. Hope he returns to his best!
just noticed i think it was phil graham playing for roosters in that ben barba try. it would have been interesting to see if he caught barba if he was chasing from directly behind. hes got some legs on him for sure.
yeah i heard about that, i heard andrew johns say that on friday night, he has a ton of pace and he has already shown it in a few breif moments against the eels a few weeks ago.

when ben barba got a break away in auckland, locke was chasing him, slowed down so he made sure he could get him, then tackled him. lol
yeah thats true, i think hayne has lost a yard or two of pace since then though, but he hasnt show off his pace for the last few seasons, so im not sure, he might still be as fast as he was back then
i no it doesnt state it in the description but it is my opinion and during ur comment u said 'i recommend making another' but it states in the description box that i have a more updated version of this.

you gotta get some footage of Marika Koroibete. he plays for the tigers but has only played a couple of games. apparently he ran a 10.6sec 100 metres time

I think there should be a few of them up higher, although its hard to say with the great speed on show. Great list though and I have to agree with David mead.
Yeh, for sure Bowen this season has just shown some awesome pace, run down Locke, Johnson and Morris

A fact is a fact. Pretty common knowledge that Shaun Johnson is the fastest in the Kiwis squad. Last time I checked Locke was in the squad as well. You do the math.

Need a 100m sprint with Kevin Locke, Shaun Johnson, Glen Fisiiahi, David Meade, Kevin Gordon, Matty Bowen etc.
Go by the numbers on the track, rating it on the game, some sides will have a heavier workload ie forced to defend more so its not always a accurate measure. Locke definitely though is up there.

sean rudder was a lock/five-eigth, running him down is nothing special, and its their pace now, not a few years back
no its not a joke because david mead, kevin gordon, kevin naiqama, marika koroibete, brett and josh morris, jarryd hayne, matt bowen, james roberts, glen fisiahi, reece robinson, justin oneil plus others are all faster than barba

i didnt really base it on a certain amount of metres i just made it on who i thought was the fastest, but the order is way off, thats y i made a new fastest players video :)
kevin locke was injured when he got run down, you can clearly see he was struggling to sprint

yeah i no, when i first made it i thought i had him in the right spot but after seeing him run down johnson and locke i will agree that bowen would be at least top 10 if not top 5

Brad Tighe should be in there he's lightening. There are newspaper articles stating that Kevin Naiqama has the same 40m time as Uate and he defs has the speed over 100m as well. Nathan Merrit is a smokey.

Locke was at 85% and still isnt right, hes got a hamstring injury and was carrying it then. look how slow he is against Bowen compared to his other get aways. In the past few weeks Locke would have scored way more if he was 100% fit !

@newcastleknights108 garders try is 2010 slaters try is like 2006 when web was full back and stacy jones was playing lawrence is back is 2008 haynes is back when they made the grand final jennings both are old 2010 and older roberts older than 2009 since he hasnt played for rabbits in the last 3 years. sorry bout it
Nice List but, Bowen should be in the top 3, The only players that could are as fast or faster than him in here are Gordon, mead, and fisiahii.

How in the hell is Jharal Yow Yeh not on the list? He should easily be in the top 5. He chased down Jarryd Hayne who is at number 6 so he should at least be ahead of him.

Did you not put Uate up higher because you didnt want to be biased i think he would in the top 5 being a ex track runner. Also Edrick Lee and Marika Koroibete are quiet speedy aswell remember them for you next list.
Fishiahi has got to be the fastest in the NRL, he will burn whoever is number 1

Hayne 2nd, you can't be serious he would be lucky to make the top 50, he has quick acceleration(so do props) but not a high top speed.
How is Jharal Yow Yeh not here? That kid is a demon.
The order is incorrect. Slater and Uate should be higher up. Also, Josh Morris is faster than Jennings. That was proven in a Panthers v Bulldogs match when Morris mowed down Jennings over 70m after giving him a 10m start

Kevin Locke smoked Jennings on 3 occasions in their last meeting last season, he's even smoked Meads. Cant say for sure if he is the fastest but if you've smoked an opponent twice or more thats gotta say something. It sux he has been injured most of this year, even during the times he did play his thigh was always heavily strapped
a fit inglis over 100m would be very hard to beat. top 5 1 inglis 2. james roberts 3. brad tigh, 4. johnson. 5 jennings.

Yea i think uate is up there in the top 5.... is farther brought him over her to be a sprinter. he can run the 100m 10.32 or close to that. Alot of these guys have good acceleration but not top speed

um.... 2 questions 1. are we just changing the whole NRL announcements of who is the fastest by the nrl? and 2. why is josh morris in front of brett morris josh morris even announced that brett is and has always been faster and better than josh but you know screw what the players say themselves! lol
Locke smoked Jennings twice in one game. Outran him for a try, then ran him down and tackled him when Jennings made a break

Marika Koroibete* had not started playing first grade when this was made
Jack Wighton had just started playing when this was made so nobody knew how fast he was
Greg Inglis is not even that fast, look up the 100 bolt where he came last by miles
Brett Stewart* (how hard is it to spell stewart) has had multiple knee reconstructions and is nowhere near as fast as he once was
