Very impressed, not only with his absolute talent, but how he can visualise the end result before he starts - all that layering that you think is somehow spoiling what he previously did. So fast, so obsessed, but still has time to give out face masks, especially to the children - big thumbs up for that as well!
lol he doesn't visualize it how you think, he just knows what not to do so as not to fuck the whole thing up. He doesn't know how it will come out exactly, just a loose idea. Improvisation is hard to master but still worth it.
Trollamollex I used the term "visualise" artistically, as with the undoubtedly repeated process of making this art, he knows roughly how it will finish - you took the term "visualise" literally - that, of course, is not possible with this random are. However, I wish I could do this.
*+Eezee Listen* oh yeah, my bad I thought you meant that he knew what he wanted it to look like since the beginning. Yeah, I really think his are work IS badass. He is shame/inspiration to many of us. Just invest enough time I guess.
Trollamollex What I can never seem to get to grips with is how the apparent random application of paint becomes sometimes extremely beautiful pictures, and then when the artist seems to have finished, they then cover the picture with even more paint, which to me then seems to have disappeared forever, and then with a bit of newspaper, reveals not only part of the original picture but also has made it even more spectacular. If magic was real, this would be magic. Best wishes from Ireland.
@@escapedcops08 Well the universe is billions of years old but many of us out here still appreciate it - picture form or other. And for children, seeing this IS for the first time. Not everything is about you.
A responsible person who knows his art its toxic because of the spray paint ingredients. I love that he is concern about the kids, and asked them to protect their noses. He is so used to the smell that I'm sure he doesn't feel the effects while painting. So much talent, he should have given the opportunity to work in a safe protected environment to make his art. Thank you for caring for the kids. You are an wonderful Artist!
One of the best I've seen, dust masks is a nice touch and you can see a lot of effort went into this unlike others who are more into quantity rather then quality
Such talent he possess. Talented street artists like him deserve more than just to be street artists selling their wonderful works with just small price... I wanna cry...
That guy was amazing. but what I loved the most was making sure that all the kids wore masks so they didn't inhale the fumes. That was truly the best part.
thats amazing, i have seen similar things but this guy is siting on hard stone all day trying to make people pay almost nothing for a masterpiece, i envy what this guy is doing and i think he deserves a lot more than what he has
So sorry for your loss. I'm a working artist, and sadly we are only now learning the real and lethal aspects of most of our beloved products. A particle/dust mask will not help your brain, or body, stave off the chemicals in spray and other non water based medium. What's really amazing about this is seeing him do it. Although the panting is amazing, people still want to see him do it, because you can actually see the effort he put into doing this.
and mindless apparently? cause if watching a homeless junkie, mark up the sidewalks with toxic spray cans while ingesting the hazardous propellants only to captivate a group of juvenile tasteless onlookers... talent is not what you are most lacking.
Magnificent! While the artist was working all i could think of was his poor lungs.. The painting is brilliant..the man should be doing large works for museums-fine art and and commercial- advertising .
Love the way he like told the kids standing there to move away from the fumes of the paint and gave them masks so they wouldn´t get all that stuff in their lungs Respect
I love this so much! Not only did he make something so breathtaking but he also put his whole heart into it and looked after the children around him :')
make 3 an hour and you've got yourself a pretty decent wage... But I guess the cans aren't cheap either, and I definitely feel like he deserves whatever he gets.
While I on some levels can agree with you, modern art does not necessarily have to do with the skill and detail of a piece but rather if it makes you feel something, any feeling at all. Thats basically the goal of art. So while this artist may deserve to be in an art museum because his art makes people feel and think something, so does a lot of other artists, who maybe limit their works to painting squiggly lines because thats what makes them and their audience feel something.
actually, art is everything that defines some cultural or personal way to behave or think, and this piece in particular is a technical demonstration of what this guy and his knowing of the materials are capable of. and being this his job and also the way he connects with world, it is art,a recreation of the world as he sees it, not literally, but an universe where people rather see some iconic stuff and shiny colors as a remembering of a trip before worrying about the culture. hope it's helpful

Complete respect for the street artist , having breathing mask for the kids. Very thoughtful.
The whole space theme is getting dated, a lot like the hibachi onion volcano... After a while, you've seen it one too many times and everyone does it.

Incredible artistic talent, I hope he makes it big in life.

Mad respect for caring about the health of youth and everyone around
It was awesome with street talent like him.
Thanks for posting.
I was getting impatient and annoyed...and then WOW. WOW! YOU'RE AMAZING.
I could feel his passion. I'm moved.
True visionary, I will never look at art the same way again.
Thank you sir for posting this video.
This dude here! 😮 wow! Amazing!
Great artist and he cares about kids! HE IS AWESOME!
He is also very sweet how he cares about the kids to but masks on. And yet he doesn't put one on for himself....... still very kind!

+Maovie Ryousuke I am sure this is only for their hobby, they must have a regular art related career.
These rome artists make the same art, it’s a mass produced street gig that’s why it’s cheap
I'm impressed by how he looks so focused in painting yet still pay attention that some kids around him and handed them masks.
I felt something deep inside of me which is a higher state of Art loving.
The change he's earning will never replace all the brain cells he's killing. He must be high as hell after making one of those.

Im a realistic portrait artist but seeing this man can do with colour sprays is plain awesome.
Realism is better. This art took 7 minutes. Portraits take days and weeks to conplete. More value there.
Beautiful please wear a mask as my husband is an artist and uses spray paint and he’s got cancer .
Sweety you look like my son
Wow 😯
Your son is lucky to have you..
Oh mamma

THAT IS ART WHEN SOMEONE GIVE SOMETHING OUT OF HIMSELF ITS AN ART IT DOES NOT MATTER IF ITS IN THE MUSEUM OR IN YOUR HOME UP ON THE WALL.
Wow! Gotta love his original style and eye for detail. Hope he gets compensated for his hard work and talent.
Definitely not an original style but still amazing.
OH how I remember when this type of art started, it was everywhere, now days you hardly ever see it
You're genius and talented !
But first of all i love the way you treat and care about people. Dude ! Wish all kinda good things come to you !!

Oh my God!
Awesome talent.
Also... I worked on a billion dollar construction project, and they were no where as generous as him with free masks

they usually sell the paintings for about $20

I would give him more than 20.00..lots of hard work.

This is just amazing.
I was even more amazed when he gave the masks to the kids
Wish he would wear one for himself
wow I never knew that Riddick could paint

art is very subjective, after all, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
The first spray painter who hands masks out to his viewers. :) Especially the little ones.
The fact that he made sure people, especially children, had masks made him better than the rest.
