In that same movie, a mysterious "investor" was mentioned, who hired Emely and the marines to take down Sirenhead. Could this strange investor be the dude from the end of this movie? Maybe he wanted someone to take down Sirenhead so nothing stood in the way of Cartoon Cat & friends. Could he be somehow in alliance with Cartoon Cat?

@@VashtheStampede007 well Afton mention the guardians to the man upside-down face :0 , maybe those guardians were his guardians but he need to Hunt them down and they somehow really good at hide and seek so he woke a monster far more powerful to see how they would react and maybe to hunt them down easily
The fact that the guardians had to absorb humans to fight something greater which is Cartoon cat is quite sad. Since guardians were trying to protect the humans but they needed power to defeat him in which they had to absorb humans.
The only thing I would ask for is more lore. Overall though the animation quality is amazing and the story had me captivated the entire time. Great animation and I would love to see more!
The death of that miner, the boss, at minute 4:55, that was something epic and at the same time sad, I tried to put an end to that threat and only managed to injure him with the explosion.
