Hey Maria. Throne of Glass is amazing. I just wanted to say that I purchased the box set and I read it in the order in which it the books came in and the first book was THE ASSASINS BLADE. I highly recommend you read that first in the series before Throne of Glass. I loved the series. 6 Star Read.
Wow what a haul.. I am new here .. quick question.... Why did you buy special editions of books you haven't read yet? What if you don't like the books? (Like the knock em out series). To be fair I do not buy special editions for two reasons: 1) books are so expensive these days - so I can't imagine spending extra money and 2) I am not a book collector - I read a book and then sell or donate them to my library/Goodwill thrift store. I typically buy books from thrift books or FB Marketplace...
Welcome to my channel! 🫶🏼 and to answer your question, this was my first time buying collectors editions for books I I haven’t read yet cause I typically don’t. For the Knockemout series, I took a chance simply cause they were so pretty and the price wasn’t too bad. (Thankfully I’m loving the series) And as for the other collectors edition book I got off book outlet (Anna & the French kiss) I only got that one because I couldn’t find the regular version on their site and the collectors edition was under $10 so I figured, why not! I definitely agree that books are expensive these days which is why I’ve been loving book outlet! And I do thrift a lot of books too, maybe sometime I’ll do a goodwill book haul :)

Tbh the aesthetic of it! Some people want everything to look nice and pretty I think if I had the money I totally would!
I just finished A Thousand Broken Pieces yesterday and I loved it more than ATBK. It was just as sad as the first book though 🥲
