Solid review! This Trunks looks a lot better on video than it does in the promo images. If it was cheaper or included an aura effect, I'd probably get it. I honestly don't understand why Bandai has been overpricing the hell out of their exclusives this year. I was going to snag all of them (including that NYCC Vegito they announced), but the high prices led me only to get the EE Goku.
I appreciate it! Yeah, I don't think the skin tone is as bad as people were making it out to be. I guess a person could account for inflation and Bandai's probably banking on the consumer to continue to pay the prices. Maybe the paint jobs are more expensive? I don't know. NYCC Broly was $90 in 2022, and the year before that SSB Kaio-Ken Goku was $60, although he's smaller than Broly, but they at least came with aura effect pieces. Just a bummer Trunks and Jiren didn't come with one, and now Vegito gets one. And to be honest, this year's Goku was probably the best one of the bunch anyways.

Just discovered your channel and really love your analysis on each figures and really like hearing your thoughts on both figures and series as you well articulate your thoughts so calmly and nice instead of throwing insults and such hope to see your channel grow more
@@kaioken654 the look is definitely not for everyone. I’m a believer that something has to be different to really make it stand out or be unique. Good Buu is getting a reissue, and he was an event exclusive for 2022, so maybe Super Trunks will get the same treatment one day or have another campaign for a reissue like with SSB Vegeta.
Probably a dumb question but have you tried fitting the head on any other body? Or does the skin make it practically impossible to match on any other bodies? Much as I share the sentiment about this Trunks look I am a fan of this figured hair and face.
Not a dumb question at all. The peg for this head sculpt is smaller than the 3.0 Trunks and the Battle Armor Trunks. Out of curiosity, I had the 3.0 Teen Gohan, SDCC SSJ2 Gohan and LSSJ Goku handy, and funnily enough the head sculpt fits perfect on those bodies. But yeah, the skin tone is WAY off lol If you have the original, you could swap the faces from that over to this head sculpt and it doesn't look too bad actually.

You need to remove the pommel. Be careful if it’s on there pretty good and make sure you have a hold of it, or else you’ll send it flying.
