I am fortunate to have visited 'Gib' in 1980 when I was a young ATC cadet. Besides staying on the RAF base, we visited the RN docks, the barracks to the South, and what was described by our Officers, a "gentle walk" to the top of the rock! Later, as a serving member of the RAF, I got to drive up to the radar site to help with it servicing. However, I've never got to see St Michaels cave. Thanks for showing me what I've missed.
Wow this is amazing. I have visited Gibraltar as a tourist and visited the caves but there was not a whisper about these underground tunnels. A well kept secret for sure! Where do the tunnels lead to? Durham was mentioned?
