Back on site! Hope you are doing well. Those beaver dams can cause bad flooding problems and divert water to the wrong places. Beavers are cute until they cause your house to flood!
So don't buy land in a flood plain/historical wetland... It's pretty simple

Oh man pwoild be freaking out around here. I saw a wanted sign just recently at the grocery store for some guy on trail cam pulling out a couple logs like this guy is wanted for destroying property blah blah...i thought to myself what about the beavers turning your land into a swamp? They must get a pass...
You need a corduroy road built thru there for future blockages.

Do you guys get permits for that? I am unfortunately from Mass and anytime any excavator goes withing 200 feet of a big puddle you need all kinds of permits that they dont like to give cuz they are filled with green hippies who dont want anything changed. And its a federal EPA law not a state law so it would technically be enforceable anywhere in the US. But its rarely enforced in the countryside but strictly enforced in suburban areas with hippies. I know people who have done much less and had $60,000 a day fines. Its absolutely insane.

Yup, even if you cut down a rotted tree on your own property within 200' of "wetlands" the conservation officers could show up. Definitely don't go pee outside within 200' that's mandatory life without parole LOL.

@@dirtfarmer7472 Yes but technically those are federal laws or regulations usually through EPA that could be enforced by federal officials even in conservative areas but they're always enforced in liberal environmentalist areas. Like the case that went to the supreme Court over the EPA over stepping there bounds declaring something that was not a wetland a wetland happened in northern Idaho to a guy that owned an excavation business He's been fighting it for like 15 plus years.. It wasn't any of the local zoning or state regulators that didn't want him to build it was the federal government bureaucracies.

Yup, Mikey got to do what he got to do. One thing is for sure with Mikey, it will be DONE RIGHT.
We all know that Beavers are a pest, and as Mikey says No beavers were harmed.
But at some point they will return and after a couple of years the same process will prevail.
The land will be restored better than before. Mikey has the instinct to do things right for humans and wildlife. Some people will not do that.
