@@Deep.PurpleI agree but Deboer has done a lot to scheme up certain plays with intended targets and easy reads instead of just making Milroe read the defense and take what's there. With Deboer I think Milroe is an excellent QB and weapon 👍

The problem with the "hate" on Milroe is the majority of all the people talking shit on him is the opinion that he could never be anything other than just an "athlete" just just so happens to be playing the QB position. Well if last night didn't prove all that to be a bunch of bullshit I totally 💯 that folks are just plain "haters" or they just don't know a damn thing about the game of football. I think Saban described those as guys sitting in their basement in their underwear😂 that's coming from the GOAT. So take some time and marinate on that. RMFT
Add Ryan Williams to Devonta Smith and Amari Cooper as Freshman WRs to kill UGA with game winning TDs from behind. Technically even Julio got the game clinching TD against UGA as a Freshman but obviously that's a little different
It’s a great day when you score a win over a top two opponent and still have plenty to work on. There is a lot of stuff to fix but also tons of great things to point out.
I kept saying they can't keep converting all of these 4th down plays but they did. If they missed on any one of them the game would have been pretty much out of reach. We stopped pressuring in the passer as much and tried to make them dink and dunk down the field. Normally that's a good plan with a big lead but then we started giving up the deep ball, which spoiled that plan.
Lack of pass rush is concerning, you know how GA used that fast little white guy as 3rd down rb and ran him out in the flats, I wish we would put K Law as a 3rd down rb and use him the same I think it would work and a good way to put him to use
I just want all Alabama and college football fans around the nation and around the world to know that I never panicked when Georgia went up by a point, not one single Xanax! I took 5 Xanax and lucky I stayed up to finish watching the game lol. Just kidding folks, and never take benzodiazapines or any narcotic unless you absolutely have to. Yeah last light could have been a valid reason, but I really was confident. UNTIL Georgia took that one point lead. Even after the catch of the year by Williams for the go ahead score I was sweating bullets. Cause I felt like our defense spent way too much time on the field in the second half. I mean Georgia had 11 plays, and hadn't even crossed the 50 yd line. Georgia converted more 4th downs than they had in 2 season, I believe, in that second half. Kudos to those Dawgs tho! A great team never goes away that easily, except maybe for that trip to crappy Santa Clara to face Trevor Lawrence and Clemson in that national title game thud by Bama. Remember when that was the death of the dynasty? I've been trying to tell these young folks that Alabama football is just different, and that this program has always been a program that knows how to win, it knows how to recruit the best players, and knows how to hire the best coaches, and there is history and an extremely fat and glorious trophy case to prove as much. Imo, there are 6 brands that rise above all in all of sports. The New York Yankees, the Boston Celtics, the LA Lakers, the New England Patriots, the UCLA Bruins, and the Alabama Crimson Tide. And anyone who sees these brands, know why their well known. Whether it's NFL, NBA, MLB, CB, or CF. And didn't Vince Lombardi have a reporter ask him once, after a playoff win, does he think he has the best team in football? And he responded by saying he didn't know yet, because his team hadn't faced Bear Bryant and Alabama yet. That was in the 1960's I believe. And we've heard it while Saba was head coach could Alabama beat an NFL team. Which I think is ridiculous because it just is. Anyway, I hope that Alabama fans have finally bought in on Milroe. The dude has been clutch in big games. You can bring up the Michigan game from last season, but you'd be pointing to the wrong person for that loss. And the great thing about this team, is that alot of freshman are making plays, and alot of players will only get better. Let's just hope the injury bug stays the hell away! ROOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLL TIDE ROLL!
This is why you come to Alabama as a recruit.. to become LEGENDS, win championships, be the very best at what you do and have a fair shot to go to the NFL.. why would the best of the best go anywhere else? It doesn't make any sense.. there's no reason to because at Alabama you just win
Bama hasn't won a championship since 2020. All bama does now is play to beat Georgia. That's it. Bama doesn't play to win championships anymore just to beat Georgia.
Should have won in 2021 but thats another story & played the national champions better than anyone could have last season.. that Michigan team would have stomped Georgia out and ran down there throat and it isn't anything Georgia would have been able to do.. theres only been 1 year since 2020 that we wasn't in a deep run for the championship & its only been 3 years and last year was Milroe's first season 😂 you don't even know what your talking about lol went completely undefeated in the SEC last year & was a better team than texas who beat us early.. by the end of the year when we figured our team out we was better then them.. your just afraid of Alabama which is okay many people take there insecurity's out with hate kid 😂 i can see through your bs though lol Alabama has and always will be one of the best in the country.. you'll see when we keep kicking ass and win it all this year lol while teams like Michigan & Georgia are done with there little runs.. Alabama has always been the most consistent over the last 18 years or so and were #1 this year so you can suck it 🤣
@@joeyphillips1181 did you not see the Orange Bowl the year prior with those same Michigan players that played against Georgia? Georgia dominated Michigan.LOL! That's all Bama plays for now, because it's certainly not national championships anymore. Georgia isn't afraid of Alabama. Alabama is afraid of Georgia. Playing Georgia is like Alabama's super bowl now. LOL! You know I'm right. I usually agree with Jimmy but if you go back to 2023 Saban comments & read a little between the lines, they wanted to give the Ty’s an opportunity knowing USF was a win & knowing Jalen was the guy. This helped keep Simpson out of portal. All part of the plan.
The only problem was Rees sneaking his boy in front of Simpson. But yes I'm so glad Ty stayed. I feel like if something happens to Milroe its not game over if we have Ty come in, he's a pretty natural baller.
Any word on Kendrick Law yet? I'm surprised you didn't mention the no call for pass interference, right before the half, and not one sack! The O-line looked great! Oh and we tried to get a little too cute at the end of the first half like we were behind by 28 lol.
Last season about midway my boss and I got in an slight argument about Milroe. I said he sucked he was not ready for his position YET.. But let me say it LANK he let me a naysayers know he is that dude THIS YR. I wish we would have kept the gas pedal down on offense. We stopped all the motion for some reason got very plain and let them get back in the game. Either way damn proud of our guys. RTR
What’s interesting is that last year, Milroe’s clear weakness was playing quick game against a team sending heavy pressure, like A&M, Texas, Auburn, and Michigan especially. Georgia didn’t last year and Milroe made them pay. Milroe was a demon but he couldn’t check when he saw pressure, and he couldn’t hit his short and medium routes when he didn’t have much time. Now, you saw Georgia adjust and start trying to send heavy pressure at Milroe and force him to make quick reads. And he slit their throats. Played the best half of football he has ever played, jumped into first place on the Heisman watch. Against the scheme that was supposed to be his kryptonite. He looked like a completely different player. He went from amazing, potentially game-breaking player with some inconsistencies, to probobly the best player in the country. At this point, it’s literally impossible to gameplan against him with the way he’s adapting to pressure (and due credit to what is the best offensive line in college football). He’s gonna have a Lamar Jackson, Cam Newton, Johnny Manziel type season where defenses are just gonna be helpless trying to adjust to him.
Too bad Auburn can't pay a new QB to transfer in mid season 😂 we all knew they didn't have a QB before the season started.. yet the WR's they recruited thought that was the place to go for some reason 😅
We let them back in the game. Alabama got conservative on Offense and the Defense wore down eventually bc they were on the field the entire second half. Had Bama stayed with their foot on UGAs neck I don’t think it’s nearly as exciting. Roll tide lets get ready for Tennessee in a few weeks
The inexperience of Alabama's freshman defensive backs was really exploited by Georgia in the 2nd half. But they are great athletes...they will be fine over time. Zabien's 4th quarter interception proved it. Alabama's amalgem of new coaches from several different colleges is also learning how to be a single staff. Coaching and defensive back coordination will clearly be even better as the season goes on....and it is already good enough to beat Georgia. Alabama can beat every single remaining team on their schedule - except maybe Tenneesee in Knoxville.
Hey yall roll tide roll I do believe that Ryan can play just like Travis hunter and be better cause that guy plays bunch of averaged teams in Colorado this the SEC Ryan would rip everyone apart like frl don’t you think cause if he’s better at routes than the WR he’s playing on defense then he’ll know his route too he’ll be unstoppable ❤❤❤ roll tide roll love you guys
The Arion Smith pass caught down around the goal-line was the MOST blatant push off I've ever seen! Refs missed several P.I.'s on georgia but glad we were able to overcome it and win
Alabama the first half last night was the best college team ever there is no way any team could have beat them they were they were clicking on all cylinders plus some
Some items to work on. 1. 3rd and 4th down defense. It was atrocious, plain and simple. 2. Penalties. Looking at you OL. Getting better but just clean things up. 3. Interior running game. While the OL pass pro is much improved, a little concerning about lack of between the tackle runs. I wanted them to get a drive with a few first downs to seal the game and they couldn't. The play calling and execution in the 3rd and 4th quarters weren't good. 4. DBs. Turn and look for the ball. Brown's int was such a great thing for a true FR to do after getting burned several times. Keep doing that. This is an attacking D and they will play a lot of man coverage, they need to get eyes on the ball or these big plays will eventually cost a game.
Im a little worried about South Carolina.. thats going to be a trap game the week before Tennessee.. if we can beat SC & Tennessee i think we'll be in really good shape
SC is capable of giving us a better game then Georgia which sounds crazy but I'm telling you they beat Kentucky and Kentucky almost beat Georgia.. & should have beat LSU if there QB didn't get hurt.. South Carolina is no joke
I didn’t like the fact that we didn’t use jam in back field he will run straight and not cut an run to the side lines like Haynes also we couldn’t get any pressure on the QB
Ive always heard the first 3 or 4 drives on offense are totally scripted play by play. If that is the case then last night we saw the genius of Sheridan and DeBoer
I hope Deboer learned his lesson about taking your foot off the throat of Uga like he did. They quit showing anything exotic on both sides of the ball in 2nd half imo
An honest question: what happened to Bama the second half? Did Bama turn more conservative on both sides of the ball? Was there different play calling? Did they let up? Maybe GA figured out everything, especially on the defense side of the ball? To me it seems like Bama, we changed our play calling and became conservative on both sides of the ball. But whatever, it certainly made for an exciting game! No question that both teams are stout as usual. I'm so glad Bama finished! RTR!!
Milroe last night (first half) was the best half from a QB I can remember against an elite defense.

Since when is facts equal to hate? Bro pointing out that Milroe has issues isn't hate -- As long as he plays a lot of people will doubt him because it's NOT his athletic ability in question, it's his mindset -- he makes tons of mental mistakes and he'll do it again.
@@Deep.PurpleI agree but Deboer has done a lot to scheme up certain plays with intended targets and easy reads instead of just making Milroe read the defense and take what's there. With Deboer I think Milroe is an excellent QB and weapon 👍
@@Deep.Purplewtf the guy goes 27-33 for almost 400 yards and rushed for another 117 against an elite defense. Beck will be a 1st Rd pick and how many bad decisions did he make last night? These guys are still kids and still growing and learning. RMFT
This is the Ryan Williams show yall
Add Ryan Williams to Devonta Smith and Amari Cooper as Freshman WRs to kill UGA with game winning TDs from behind. Technically even Julio got the game clinching TD against UGA as a Freshman but obviously that's a little different
How was the environment!?? I could only imagine! That place was on fire!!! RTR!
un-un-un real
It’s a great day when you score a win over a top two opponent and still have plenty to work on. There is a lot of stuff to fix but also tons of great things to point out.
Excellent intro, I love the humor lol
I kept saying they can't keep converting all of these 4th down plays but they did.
If they missed on any one of them the game would have been pretty much out of reach.
We stopped pressuring in the passer as much and tried to make them dink and dunk down the field. Normally that's a good plan with a big lead but then we started giving up the deep ball, which spoiled that plan.
You can't take a square and fit it into a circle. Saban coaching staff was to lazy to fit the offense to the talent plain and simple!
He said "I don't know whats gonna happen, but its gonna be fun!"
we need a sound run game - our running backs are not being utlized.
Luke be killing me 😂😂😂
Lack of pass rush is concerning, you know how GA used that fast little white guy as 3rd down rb and ran him out in the flats, I wish we would put K Law as a 3rd down rb and use him the same I think it would work and a good way to put him to use
That lack of pass rush caused 4 ints
The defense was also tired from being on the field from those long drives Georgia sustained
There is no way Kirby would have lost to khaki pants in the playoffs like Saban did. Georgia would have won it all and you Bama fans know that which is why yall took so much pride in beating Georgia in the sec championship game by 3 points. That's all Bama plays for now, because it's certainly not national championships anymore. Georgia isn't afraid of Alabama. Alabama is afraid of Georgia. Playing Georgia is like Alabama's super bowl now. LOL! You know I'm right. That's ok, because bama won the battle, but Georgia will win the war by winning another national championship, because that's what we play for and not just to beat Alabama! 30-7 ----> 41-34😂😂😂😂
@@TruthTeller3000All this yapping you’re doing 😂. 2020 was not that long ago bucko. You go to Alabama to be the best of the best and get drafted, point blank period.
@@TruthTeller3000😂😂😂 Delusional as it gets. Bama is the Pinnacle of College Football, period. Jawja is nothing more than an Alabama wannabe. Never have been and never will be.
You’re right that elbow brace👀
I usually agree with Jimmy but if you go back to 2023 Saban comments & read a little between the lines, they wanted to give the Ty’s an opportunity knowing USF was a win & knowing Jalen was the guy. This helped keep Simpson out of portal. All part of the plan.
The only problem was Rees sneaking his boy in front of Simpson. But yes I'm so glad Ty stayed. I feel like if something happens to Milroe its not game over if we have Ty come in, he's a pretty natural baller.
Great show
Any word on Kendrick Law yet? I'm surprised you didn't mention the no call for pass interference, right before the half, and not one sack! The O-line looked great!
Oh and we tried to get a little too cute at the end of the first half like we were behind by 28 lol.
we only have 30 minutes and there's 435 hours of content form this game... it was just awesome!
The. 2 and 26 natty was almost the reverse of this game. Bama come back.
Morning guys ….Roll Tide 😎
Hope bama gets young back soon. Miller, haynes and young is a three headed monster in running backs and plus milroe. 🔥
Bama!
Call this show “Locked on Ryan Williams”
RTR🏆🏆🏆
Where DOES R. WILLIAMS CLUTCH CATCH RANK AMONG 2ND N 26 (GA 2018) AND 4TH N 30 (AUBURN)??????
great question....
If we play 2 halves of football like we played the 1st half yesterday then nobody is beating us.
UGA Wrs were hugging each other over Ryan Williams!
Michael Jackson plays wide receiver for Alabama
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😆😆😆😆
Teee heeeeee ain't nobody's business
Moonwalking into the end zone
😂😂😂😂
Someone told Jaylen and Ryan the Scouts were in attendance.
I wonder how much Ohio State will try to pay Ryan Williams to come play for them?
When Law went out the blocking downfield sputtered. The time management was helmet comms. They stop with 15 seconds left on the clock.
Refs bailed them out twice on 4th down with BS flags
The Arion Smith pass caught down around the goal-line was the MOST blatant push off I've ever seen! Refs missed several P.I.'s on georgia but glad we were able to overcome it and win
The Refs missed calls on both sides. So that end up not being the real problem. But Carson Beck's interceptions were the real problem in the end.
I was losing my shit lol, unless it's egregious you don't call those on 4th downs lol,
@@trienasee2136 poor puppies
@@sethmartin7084 the second one on 11 was complete phantom flag.
That one took about 5 years off my life.
I’m still exhausted
Brown gave up the long play to 11, but he got pushed
We've never had a QB throw for over 350 yards and rush over 100 yards in a game.
Can you guys talk about the recruits that were at the game last night, on the next podcast, please? 🐘
The RBs were definitely underused.
If that is the case then last night we saw the genius of Sheridan and DeBoer
looked to me like Cole Adams signaled for a fair catch and then left it for Ryan who wasn’t ready for it since he thought Cole was getting it.
They went vanilla after getting up big. Deboer did that at Washington too.
How Do You Guys Think That The Recruits In Attendance Were Encouraged By The Freshmen Making Game Changing Impact On Both Sides Of The Ball?
If NFL could take 17 yr olds, where would you draft Williams?
he’s entirely too skinny he would die in six months 😂. Let him grow.
ROLL TIDE
Milroe is a Heisman
I hope Deboer learned his lesson about taking your foot off the throat of Uga like he did. They quit showing anything exotic on both sides of the ball in 2nd half imo
Didn’t Saban say on Gameday that they had him in the wrong offense last year?
An honest question: what happened to Bama the second half? Did Bama turn more conservative on both sides of the ball? Was there different play calling? Did they let up? Maybe GA figured out everything, especially on the defense side of the ball? To me it seems like Bama, we changed our play calling and became conservative on both sides of the ball. But whatever, it certainly made for an exciting game! No question that both teams are stout as usual. I'm so glad Bama finished! RTR!!
