Yeah the song is really good! As for its meaning I honestly haven't really been able to find anything that analyzes the lyrics of the song but I do have some ideas. "I've been painting every fence I know Every color bleeds into the same" This part describes the job and work that we have in life. In her case, all of it feels meaningless as everything she does feels monotone and boring, hence "ever color bleeds into the same". There is nothing that's new or fun to her. "Cause before you go and walk away Yeah, you better know where you're going" This part seems more like a warning. It kind of sounds like she's saying that you need to choose a path in life and follow it or else you'll end up in a boring world like her (a wanderer with no path). We can relate this to life when trying to find what we want to do whether it be a job or some other means of work. Most people simply don't know and just go wherever life takes them but in reality that ends up being not what most people want to do, resulting in them being unhappy and feeling irrelevant. That's just a small analysis by me written in like 5 minutes lol. To summarize I think she's trying to say that you need to find a path in life and follow it to succeed, else you will wander around aimlessly, never finding anything that makes you happy. I’ll agree that progressive house is a “generic” genre in the sense that it’s very template-based, but to me this song is a cut above most other festival house tracks in terms of originality. Very nice arrangement, superb production quality, and some real interesting sound design on that lead synth. It’s a cool song.
