@@majun26 Nice !! Congrats on the purchase 🙂 hope you will like it. What trim/model is it ? Hatch/G4 ? If its a cvt, be gentle with the car for at least 1K miles, as it will learn your driving habits and will eventually become smoother and smoother 😎
@@InfinityRoads24 I just got the cheapest trim hatchback, I'm on my second RVR now, they never have the Mirage in stock either time when I bought the RVRs. Then one day this fall I saw a really new looking Mirage driving around. Then another one. Then, within a few days of those sightings, the dealership called me, said they're offering good deals on trade ins, so I made an appointment just to see what they'd offer. Then before that appointment I heard the Mirage would be discontinued, so I was determined to get one, I had actually kind of wanted one the last two times but they were never there. They offered me a pretty good trade, and mine needs new tires now and a couple other things, so I think it's good to shake it and get a brand new one with the full warranty, and it will burn way less gas, tires are a lot cheaper, just about everything to do with the upkeep is cheaper. I have to get winter tires right away and get some kind of rust proofing underneath since I'm going to receive it in the winter, I'll have to get a rack on the roof by summertime for bikes, then I plan to drive it until it dies completely, hopefully a pretty long time from now. This will be my first brand new car so you can rest assured I'll be driving it gently. I always loved hatchbacks, it's too bad they're discontinuing this one. At least I got one though.
@@Blair62 Congrats !!, 2024 Mirage is indeed a nice vehicle for the price point. Love the leather seats, LEDs and the fuel economy ! What is your trim (ES-Noir-SE/GT) ? :-)
I am far from Sad. Ever since they stopped discounting them heavily since like pre 2021, they have not been remotely worth it! They were worth it for $10000. Not $17,000! $21,800!? You could buy a well equipped Corolla
@ seems that way, here, to a degree. They are really taking advantage of buyers :( I would not bother with new cars. My wife bought her near loaded premium Forester for 25 grand back in 2017..

I got mine back in June. Love it. Owned 3 Geo Metros. The mirage is a lot nicer.

@@InfinityRoads24 I got the ES. Staying on budget.
@@Blair62 Good choice ! The 2024 comes with a lot a options for its price. I think the ES comes with heated seats and auto lights/wipers.
@@InfinityRoads24 No. ES is the base model.
We got our Mirage SE wine red color here in Ohio🙂

@@djkenny1202 The corolla starts at 26,481$ here in canada/québec. Its the base model and its less equiped than the top trim Mirage ;-)
@ woah! How is it so much?
@@djkenny1202 its crazy here... everything is 15-20-25% more expensive than 3 years ago in the new car market
:(

@djkenny1202 we need to take a really good care of what we own because its going to get worse. Even the houses prices here have double in 3 years...
