I've always wonder why movies makers don't bring such beautiful black people on tv shows, are they jealous of the beauty they have, or they just don't see em. There's a lot of beautiful black people out there must be shown to the world.
Because Hollywood is unfortunately very racist and wants to continue pushing negative stereotypes to fit their agenda. But thankfully there is some good black media that showcases black beauty. You just have to look for it and ask around.
You're looking at it the wrong way. Movie and TV companies are not forced to make mostly all Black cast shows as this a clear signal to White audiences to stay away from watching. The studios and finance companies who make these shows want the biggest audiences so they will continue to make alternative historical and fantasy shows like Bridgerton and Rings Of Power that have majority White cast that they can put Black and Indian cast in. If Black people want to keep seeing all Black movies and TV shows, then we have to put our own money into our own production companies and studios and stop relying on Tyler Perry.
@@matthewprince9705we need to stop this narrative, shows can still have a majority black cast and still be successful, or at least have black leads with diverse characters and be successful. The problem is always storytelling, budget, marketing and casting great ppl for the roles. Other races feel adverse to a lot of “black shows” because it usually feeds into stereotypes that is alienating to everyone including black ppl and I think it’s intentional & neglectful. Most “black shows” have the same story arcs which usually surrounds gun violence, drugs, hyper sexuality, slavery, oppression etc. However, black ppl are not a monolith and a majority of black ppl are not involved in gangs or drugs, and although stories about oppression is enlightening there is a fatigue of it amongst black youth. We want compelling stories too that does not surround heavy traumas. We need stories where their worse problem is getting their crush to like them, or getting into uni, or even action shows that they are saving the world. We need black leads where the story is not dependent on their blackness for it to be relevant.
I have Amazon Prime but I've never actually taken advantage of Prime Video because I haven't really seen any shows or movies that I like. This is the show that will make me start using Prime Video! Lol
I was about to complain it was another Black Beauty modern remake but it's just for the pun and giving the horse's name from the book. I mean it's still the cliché horse movie but at least the protag is a black girl facing prejudice which I guess makes it a little different from other cliché horse movies
Well i thought is was going to be family friendly until saw the two women kissing ,, I wonder what the rating C8+ means ?? I guess it means groom children 8 and older , if they can't push it in school they will sneak it in so called family shows around the 7th episode ,, they can't let kids be kids anymore without sexualizing everything !!
Ummmm.... I think you're having a completely different conversation here. Did I miss it cuz I don't see how Brittany, Taylor etc have to do with this movie?

The little girl in me squeals!
We're streaming it from France. There's not enough Black equine content from the Americas yet there's plenty of stories and Histories.
Let's Gooooo!
