  • This is some behind the scenes on how I make some of my videos. Can I make a viral video again? I do not know, but I can certainly try.
We are a small company out in the middle of nowhere and for some reason over 50 million people have watched my shorts. It still blows my mind when I think about it.
    I guess anything is possible.
So I will try to make a few similar yet different videos and see what happens.
Can I make another viral video? who knows.

I see in the back ground you have some Freightliner rear springs , we call them hockey sticks, if they are after market they are made in Mexico, if they are OEM part they were made in Stratford Ont Canada.

Just found your channel a few days ago. I watch a lot of car repair videos. Loved the 10-minute shackle replacement video, even if you didn't make the time you didn't injure yourself and I learned a ton about methods. Do you use Oxy-Propane for everything around the shop or just certain things? I haven't seen oxy propane in a mechanics shop before.

Yes. We use oxy propane for a ton of jobs. Heating and cutting. It is cheap and easy

I like the remove a broke spring /equalizer carnage. Torches, sparks, air hammers, things that drop (controlled). Manly men stuff. And of course the 100 ton press popping a bushing out

There is a good story behind the development of the Freightliner hockey stick , warranty reasons but not related to the spring

I got a viral video short idea for you.
Can you put a Mack camel back spring into the 100-ton ram and see if it can be squashed flat?

I would suggest adding animals - cats, dogs, talking birds etc. Sexy women seem popular. Just kidding. Your videos are interesting and you are a nice, calm presenter. You also focus on a core aspect of things that we all rely on yet never think about until we need someone like you to fix it. There is a bit of a danger aspect to what you do, a lot of heat, a lot of things under pressure etc. Just continue what you are doing, we will keep watching.

Scott - The fastest way to get more views is through COLLABORATION with other high volume UA-camrs like Adam Booth at abom79, Andrew Camerata at AndrewCamerata, Kurtis Allen at Cutting Edge Engineering, Will Stelter at WillSteller, Jason Marburger at Fireball Tool, Alec Steele at AlecSteele, Kyle Royer at KyleRoyerKnives, Quinn Dunki at Blondihacks, Joe Pieczynski at JoePie. I could go on and on, but I think you get the point. Because you bring HONEST CONTENT to your videos, we - your audience watch. I personally think UA-cam shorts are a waste of time because you cannot do what you do best which is explaining the WHY behind what you do. To win at this game, you gotta reach out to others and appear in their HIGHLY VIEWED videos. You MUST invite them to be seen in your videos and include your scenes on their high volume channels with links to yours.
