This is the Morbid Angel I used to go see in Tampa back in 85 and 86... this version with Mike Browning on Drums and Vox I believe is much better than what they ended up becoming
Last time I saw these guys was in Tampa Headlining a Death Fest Memorial Day Weekend 1986..it was probably the most intense shit I ever heard and saw..I actually sat on the Stage in front of Trey..if I remember correctly they also had a 2nd Guitarist at the time named Luther
Both are excellent. I know it's the original..it's certainly interesting to see the earlier stages of development but every song is meant to take it's ultimate form. For me it's the Covenant version.
@@HarvesterOfEyes91 I love how David Vincent sang on the Covenant version and the solos are wild, but nothing beats Mike Browning evil as hell vocals and his manic drumming. Love both versions but i like this one just a bit more.

Sung by the real magus Mike Browning.
I bought this on cassette for a dollar at Aces Records in 1988
2:03. Sacrifice.
Mike Browning always sounded so damn evil.
there is nothing comparable.
É incrível!!!
First! Precious song!😎🤘🏻
Incrível!!
Superior to the Covenant version. Raw and honest, less guitar licks and wankery. Dirty and diseased.
couldn't have said it better. those are pretty much the reasons why i love this album so much.
