I love to edit with this song. It sounds so bad ass, but also goofy at the same time. So I can use goofy audio, but also bad ass scenes. It took some time to make it, but that doesn't matter. I love it.

Did anyone notice the part where catra says "hey adora" and then it shows only the horde scenes and then adora comes and says "hey catra" and there are only scenes with the rebellion? Because I did and I love it

Watching AMVs with all the fight scenes in it really makes me wish we had more Scorpia fight scenes. Something about her fighting style is just really satisfying to watch, but she spends most of her screentime being a loveable marshmallow. Not that I'm complaining.

I usually don't comment much on UA-cam but this popped in my recommendations and I'm hella glad I clicked it. The editing was SUBURB.
LIKE YO, I'm super big on AMVs syncing with the music or beat, and at 0:42 when Adora and the lyrics sync EXACTLY to the word 'Contagious' I sat here with a surprised pikachu face. Real talk.

I've been wanting to do a Catra AMV with a particular song where parts have her speak as it tells a story of how the trauma/abuse affected her while the lyrics/beat plays, going through her stages of grief/anger/rebellion/apathy/ to the redemption within all 5 seasons, but I have an issue with Aphantasia where I cannot see exactly where I want to place parts and edit. It's heartbreaking, lol, so instead, I sail the seas of youtube in hopes for a good one that plays similar to what I was wanting to accomplish.
Like the video ua-cam.com/video/i_GyIW9bP5U/v-deo.html how it tells a story in parts and my favorite is 1:40 in the video where it looks like she's reflecting on her actions and the consequences and then goes into further storytelling.
Yet it didn't quite capture just what I've been wanting to articulate with an AMV.
The way this video ua-cam.com/video/arsKPegw1Tg/v-deo.html articulates why Catra mattered within She-Ra and what she shows the audience of her struggles and her story arc. Why Catra is the way she is, becomes, and overcomes. With the scenes of Shadow Weaver showing the conflict of Catra of what looks to be a Narcissistic parent vs the scapegoat. That Catra was taught she has no value, and then models the same abuse when she's hurt and angry until Season 4 to 5 when Double Trouble hits her with the truth and reality of herself with blunt to the point "Real talk this is what's up" and then when Horde Prime chips her ( guess when she realizes she has just used up her 9th life yo ) and makes her have a life and death enlightenment. The, "She was afraid in the end, and she suffered" from him. My favorite is when Catra finally stands up against Shadow Weaver in Episode 12 Heart Part 1 where she shouts, "Enough, this isn't about you and your messed up power trip anymore" at 12 minutes in.
You're video 'Catra & Shadow Weaver // I am nothing like you how it started off and the bit Catra "Yea well, congratulations. I'm plenty strong now and I don't need you now." are the parts I definitely wanted to incorporate.
Also really love your videos Catra // Side by side and Catra // Toxic as well. XD I know I should comment on the videos themself but I'm already commenting here so thought I'd also tell you those are awesome as well.
I'm rambling but, again, this video was badass and is now in my top favorite AMVs playlist. Just. Wow. Wow, wow wow. @_@
